Yes, I cut down the passenger side top rear bracket. Then I used a large 3/16 backer plate on the inside. Here are some super dirty pics I took when I got home tonight. Also, upgraded one size in bolt diameter to increase clamping force.

Yeah. I want black with graphite, but want the logo in black thread. I’m going to ask about a custom Velcro loop section at the top. Not just for patches, but I also think it will show less wear and dirt from people grabbing it move the seat to get in the back. I have an 11 year old.

Sorry, not that type of Velcro. I was thinking a larger Velcro loop section where badges/patches could be placed.

Luckily mine went away. Since I had just replaced my O2 sensors, I went back around and squeezed them together extra tight. Don’t know if that was the cause or not but since doing that absolutely no new no bus errors

If you spaced out the Savvy lights the same thickness as the bracket, would the lights still be within the thickness of hinges?

NK24, I was thinking of just cutting down the Garvin upper bracket to just a single bolt in the tub. All, Has anyone tried to find rubber plugs to fill in the 3 big holes in the hinges? Also, any examples of someone painting the tailgate and tub brackets body color, while leaving the hinges black?

Perfect. So it only spaces out the tire the thickness of the new bracket. NK24, Are those brackets for a Garvin Wilderness Rack? Does the rack interfere with the swing out arc after installing the new extended hinges?

Can the OEM tire bracket work with the Exogate? I have a 1.25" body lift and only run 255s. I'd like to keep the tire as close to the body as it is in the OEM configuration.....if possible.

And at the moment, I running 17" mopar rims in Black so I can run 34x10.5R17 BFG KO2s. This summer I want to switch to BFG KM3s which they don't make in that size, so I will switch back to my 16" AEVs and run 255/85R16 KM3s. Just thinking I really like the black look at the moment.
