Not a swap you see every day

Just drained my rear 44 of what I'm going to assume that is gear oil. I'm aware royal purple dyes their oils but I've never encountered red oil before. Anyone else see this or any other odd colors before?

With how rarely I touch this thing I often forget it's quirks. While doing an inspection before a trip tomorrow, I noticed this noise, and I'm not certain if its normal or not. It's 1 AM so maybe my judgement is compromised, but this doesn't sound too healthy.

Mud sucks. Whenever I roll my windows up or down you can hear a scraping/crunching as if there's dirt in the track. Has anyone had this issue? If so is there an easy way to clean it?
