I got these springs with a parts Jeep I bought and I’m trying to figure out what they are, I’m thinking they might be JKS because they look like dual rate. The only markings on them is the fronts say 214 and the rears say 216 and the fronts measure about 18 3/4 anyone have any ideas?

    Strawberry Pass

I had a buddy with a stock JKU tell me he wanted to try out this four wheeling thing. He decided he wanted to do a trail instead of a park so I took him over Strawberry pass. This trail runs 12 miles between highway 50 in Kyburz to highway 88 above Kirkwood. It goes from 5600 feet to 8700 feet...

Boxing in lower control arm mount

I wanted to strengthen the lower control arm mounts and was wondering if I can just use a piece of 3/16 plate and weld it in and leave about a 1/2 inch from the lca. Or should I wait and order the Currie mini skids , does the extra length and offset on the Currie skids make a difference? Or...

    Broken axle shaft

So I wish I had a story about being out somewhere like Moab or Rubicon and breaking a axleshaft doing something stupid. But I don’t so here it is . After regearing and installing true tracs I knew I would need chromoly shafts to stand up to 35s so I ordered a set of 4340 chromoly shafts from...

    Lonewolf's 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport

I’m new to the forum but not new to Jeeps I owned a 1974 CJ5 for about 7 years . I tinkered on it here and there and had a lot of fun with it exploring the sierras and daily driving it to and from work when it wasn’t raining too bad But as the family grew I knew I needed something that was...
