After looking at the set up for a while, researching the components, and reading forums I was able to get the actuator/lever assy out and saw that it was seized shut. I cleaned it up and was able to get the parking brake shoes installed and everything working properly. Thanks for the help.

I live in central Wisconsin so Trick Chassis isnt far at all for me. I will have to give them a call. We have tried a handful of chassis/fab shops but so far have came up empty. The search continues.

We are looking at all options here including sending ours to a repair shop to have it rebuilt. Jerry and Chris - do you have any recommendations on fab shops that can install a new axle tube/seal and inner C? Thanks.

Question - Are the inner C's on a Dana 30 the same as the inner C's on a Dana 44? My Dana 44 has a bent axle tube and inner C (passenger side) and am looking into rebuilding the right side of the axle as opposed to spending ~$3k on a G2 aftermarket axle and locker.

@Wildman - when you put the "C's" back on, was there certain specs that you installed them onto the tube? I have to replace the passenger side "C" and cannot find anything that says how that should be mounted or X degree in relation to the axle tube. Thanks.

Has anyone put the Dana 44 inner knuckles on their TJ from crane axle? I just got off the phone with them and they stated these WILL NOT fit a TJ.

Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement C? I haven't been able to find one online anywhere but maybe I'm not looking in the right places. Also, if I do buy a new C and get it welded onto my axle, are there specs on where/how it is to be welded? Thanks.

@jjvw The axle tube has a decent bend to it. It was a pain the in butt trying to get the axle shaft out of it. The TJ was hit pretty hard in the right front so it bent the "C" knuckle as well. Ended up finding a Dana 44 with 69k miles on it and going to look at it tomorrow and the price is right too.

Does the Dana 30 have enough room for the 4.10 gears and be able to fit the air lock components (hopefully I have the terms correct)? Not sure on the locker - still looking into it and I think the axle shafts are still good. Brakes are good. I've been searching car-part.com and found some on there but figured I'd reach out on here and see if anyone has one they are wanting to sell. Thanks for the info.

I bought my TJ from an insurance auction and the front axle is damaged and needs to be replaced. Looking for a complete assembly ideally. Not sure really what my budget is for this but nothing over $3500. I won't be rock crawling or anything extreme like that with it. At this present moment that is.
