My TJ Sport has a new problem. The temp gauge dropped today below 100 while I was driving it. Is it a gauge or a sending unit? Never had that problem in forty years.

I'm not trying to seal your question, but it relates. I replaced a belt three months ago and the steering pump pulley looked liked this. I do not know how long the belt was on before I replaced it. The pulley looks cracked or is that factory? The new Gates belt only lasted thought the summer...

Mine is a 1998 Sport. I put a new belt on three months ago and it started to come off last week. I got it on at the side of the road and tightened the hell out of it. Ever hear of one coming loose after three months? It was a Gates belt. Only two thirds of belt left. I don't feel anything loose...

Thanks for your advice. Monday I'm going to remove the front bolts and try to bend it up enough to get the bushings out. If not I will wait til fall. I have to many projects to do and my metal garage is getting hotter everyday.

Replacing front end parts. Shocks, brakes, rotors and sway bar links. Rusty 1998 Sport from up north. I've down to the sway bar bushings. Sprayed it with Blaster and the two back bolts made two turns and are ready to break. Right under the front grill. If they break off what are my options...

I have a Best top and mine does it on the passengers side. The top is tight as a hair in a biscuit. Tennessee is warming up and the top will go down till fall. I have other things to worry about. As much of a pain as it is, its still better than the old CJ7 tops
