You may be correct. There is a stud in the back for the wire harness clamp. I looked at that but the photo I took prior only shows the stud on one side with no nut on it. Anyone else?

I know this has happened to others. I just finished changing my valve cover gasket. I removed most of what is on top of the engine, air intake, cables to the valve body, etc. I put all the nuts and bolts in a plastic cup. When I finished the project I still had a nut and unusual shaped...

Took off the leaking valve cover and gasket......tomorrow and the next few evenings clean the gasket are and put it back together. It's tough for this old dog to reach the back of the engine bay.
