    Half door upper frame question

Do the same upper frames fit both the factory half doors as well as soft doors? I ask because I'm looking at putting a metal skin on some soft door frames I have and adding bushings so I can attach the uppers. My bottom frames don't have those 3 places for the "pins" on the upper frames. I...

    Control arm design question

I understand it's generally best to just buy adjustable control arms, that's not what this thread is meant to discuss. I'm curious why companies and the few who do build their own seem to use DOM? Would using solid round stock, steel or aluminum, that has been drilled and tapped in the ends be...

Anyone used the tonneau cover bimini and wind breaker combo?

A day late but I got swapped out this evening. I took several pictures. Maybe some of these will help.

Anyone used the tonneau cover bimini and wind breaker combo?

Your tailgate bar looks like mine. But again if you're going to buy the kit like I linked above it says it comes with everything including the bar. I didn't get to swap mine out today but I'm going to try again tomorrow. If I do I'll snap some pics from different views.

Anyone used the tonneau cover bimini and wind breaker combo?

Your new Trektop should come with its own header and door surrounds i believe. No it does not cause a gap at the cuff. Can you post a pic of your tailgate bar?

Also, do you already have a soft top tailgate bar?

Anyone used the tonneau cover bimini and wind breaker combo?

When I run my Trektop as a safari I leave those straps on and run them through the cuffs on the tonneau that go around the roll bars at the back. Make sense?

👍 my bad, I misread your post. I have no clue what the difference would be.

Anyone used the tonneau cover bimini and wind breaker combo?

Does the "with hard top" version come with the frame for the soft top as the reason for a higher price?

Anyone used the tonneau cover bimini and wind breaker combo?

I believe this is @tworley in this pic. It is the same windjammer and tonneau setup that I use. I just have my Trektop top on. You can see the gap between the windjammer and door surround. That would be your biggest concern for rain in my experience.

Anyone used the tonneau cover bimini and wind breaker combo?

The only 2 places that are a concern for water getting in is just over the outside shoulder of the driver and passenger. Its open all the time due to the windjammer style that I have. I may be able to get it changed out in the morning. If I do I'll take several pics so you can see what I'm...

Anyone used the tonneau cover bimini and wind breaker combo?

I have a Trektop. I also have a tonneau cover and windjammer. I am currently running the full Trektop but in the next week or so I will remove the 3 windows and leave the top which is basically then a safari. I'll put on the tonneau and windjammer and thats how it will stay until around...

Help me find a rear bumper

I say build your own. Nothing wrong with any of those you linked but it appears your going for a pretty simple design. You could do something similar to @LONGJP2 or here's what I did. Just a piece of 1/4" flat bar to cover the crossmember. I cut the ends off a hitch I had and welded on angle...
