I recently bought a “ring of fire” 3rd brake light for my 02 TJ. I have it mounted to my swing arm tire carrier, which is separate from the actual rear door of the Jeep. I have it wired down the carrier and through the door, to the terminal-it works! But it also means I have to be super careful...

My buddy paid 10k (private sale) for a nice f150...it lasted 6 months, nothing but issue after issue. Being such good friends...we still haven’t let him live it down 😂

Paid $7500 for an 02 X with about 93000 miles, in the Northeast (Maine). Hardtop and soft top included. Only thing it had was slightly larger tires, no other mods. Suspension pretty worn, some rust but nothing insane or rotted (except one spot I’m getting fixed)...Jeep guy I’m working with...

Don’t have a grand to drop on an OME or something like that. Comes with what I need. From what I’ve seen, RC and SJ get a lot of hate, but not everyone can skip “entry level” lifts.

I’m looking at a 4” Skyjacker lift now, plus replacing my front track bar with a Steinjager. The guy helping me with install has a habit of driving his installs until it’s “dialed in,” so I’ve got high hopes (for now 😂)

I’ve always heard cap them to avoid water getting in. Or could that actually trap water?

I knew I had one problem area with rust, but I hadn’t really gone and looked. Thankfully the rest of the frame looks pretty decent, but...can anyone let me know just how bad this is? I know it’s the frame, but I do have a body shop that does rust repair in my area. Am I effed?

Sorry if this is a repeat question. Or a stupid one! To pass inspection, I need both rear sway bar links replaced. It’s still at factory height, but if I put a lift on it, would that also then replace the sway bar links? I’m just figuring that I want to lift it anyway, why not kill two birds...
