    Supercharger Cowl Intake?

Is anyone running a THOR intake with a suprcharger? Hoping for some insight here. I am running a Boosted Tech supercharger on my 2006 Rubicon, tuning with FRP. I have a 62mm throttle body as well. Question is, would it be beneficial to run cowl induction? How loud would it be after warming...

Turn signals / flashers stopped working

Hi all, I know this has been posted about before, but I have not found a solid answer on this. I installed metalcloak fenders on my 2006 Rubicon and am running the LED flashers from them as well. Upon installation, I got the expected hyperflash, which was fixed by switching to an LED intended...

    Vacuum reservoir replacement?

Hoping to bump this as I am having the exact issue, with the chamber filling sound as well. When I’m coming to a stop sign and put the clutch in, the idle drops way down and then has a “chh” sound like something is filling with air before the idle comes back. Did you solve this?

    What is this noise?

So I ran it for a little with the belt off and could not reproduce the noise, which is good. AC was not on and with a stethoscope it seems to be coming from the idler pulley, but the weird thing is that the pulley feels great off of the car, no play or anything. Maybe the load from the belt is...

    What is this noise?

Bearing sounds likely. From what I could tell, it seemed like it was coming from the power steering pump

    What is this noise?

I have this weird clacking sound when I rev the engine, almost sounds like something hitting the fan. I’ll add a video, let me know if you have thoughts!

    Another Supercharger Question

The Jeep is in a storage unit at the moment, I won’t be able to start with Ryan until January but I will update!

    Another Supercharger Question

I have! he gave me some things he wanted me to do before getting a tune from him (injectors, map sensor and relocate IAT). Does anyone know if ford racing 39lb injectors are the same dimensions as the stock 4.0? If they are any taller they wont be able to clear the adaptor plate for the S/C on...

To All Suffering The 2005-2006 Supercharger Issue

No question it is the best route, but number two works well while you recoup finances from buying the supercharger itself!

To All Suffering The 2005-2006 Supercharger Issue

I wanted to do a quick write-up on this to see if I could help some people out. If you have a 2005 or 2006 wrangler and you went the supercharger route with the expectation of easy bolt-on power, you probably noticed that no matter what the WOT voltage is set to, your Jeep will not go into open...

    Another Supercharger Question

Im debating just selling the whole kit at this point. This is a rabbit hole I wish I had never gone down. May as well just set thousands of dollars on fire at this point. I just dont have the cash at this point to dig deeper so i may, for now, just hope that the Split Second FTC1 is retarding...

    Another Supercharger Question

Is there any chance you could drop a ling to larger injectors that would fit? Is adapting needed or are there some that would be plug and play? I may have found a shop here in NW Florida that can tune it.

    Another Supercharger Question

I did try to reach out to Ryan but never heard back from him. I would love to go the larger injector/tune route but I cant seem to find anyone who will tune it for me. Also, if Mark at BoostedTech cant get rid of the open-loop dealy, wouldn't everyone else who tries run into the same issue?

    Another Supercharger Question

Yes BT did tune, this has been going on for about 7 months now, and Mark has been helpful with trying to get everything sorted for me. From my understanding, the 7th injector works when the internal MAP sensor on the FTC registers boost. My assumption is the PCM is just cutting fuel to maintain...

    Another Supercharger Question

Hi all, Hoping some of the boost gurus ca chime in on this. I have made a few posts in regards to my supercharged 2006 rubicon (Boosted Tech). I have been having the common 05-06 open loop issue, where in any situation other than full throttle there is a big delay of about 6-8 seconds before...

2006 Supercharged Rubicon can’t force open loop

I have ordered an enricher module from split second to hopefully combat the issue. Not a clue how the wiring looks for that but hopefully it will save me. I hate having all these extra computers on my Jeep so I think getting rid of the 7th injector is my next step. Is it easy to buy an...

2006 Supercharged Rubicon can’t force open loop

Thank you for all the replies. I live in Pensacola Florida and have not found a tuning shop that can do a Jeep PCM, extremely frustrating. If I get bigger injectors, what should I go with? Will the lack of cooking from the 7th injector be a concern?

2006 Supercharged Rubicon can’t force open loop

So would you go no 7th injector and just tune the factory pcm? Possibly bigger injectors as well?

2006 Supercharged Rubicon can’t force open loop

Hoping someone can help me. I have a 2006 Rubicon with a BoostedTech Eaton M90. It uses a split second FTC-202 with a 7th injector. The issue I am having is that I can’t force it to go into open loop no matter what I do with the HP Tuner. Unless I am at 100% throttle, there is an insane delay...
