    Sudden onset death wobble

So the other day I was taking my TJ to the car wash. As I hit 45 mph, the steering wheel started shaking and I’m all over the road. Immediately turned around and went back home. Did some checking and found that the steering gearbox had one broken bolt and the other 2 were loose. The broken...

High mileage oil and RMS leak

Hello all, My TJ had a slight rear main seal leak. I took the advice from others here on the forums and tried a high mileage oil. I used Valvoline High Mileage synthetic blend as I couldn’t find a non-synthetic oil. After the first wheeling trip, just one small drip on the garage floor. Now...

    SxS morons

Zoom in on the photos and look around. Tracks where they are not supposed to be brought to you by our friends in the side by side community. This is just off of forest road 2414 in the Beartooth mountains. I have encountered packs of side by sides in my off road adventures over the years...

Before he could answer, his wife came out and said flat out no it’s not for sale at any price...

    Stroker kit or re-gear?

2005 X 42rle Stock gears 4.0 47K miles So I’ve got my 2022 budget set aside. Enough $ to install a stroker kit or re-gear but not both. Looking for a bit more power. I’m leaning towards gears but that can get sooo tedious. Rebuilding a low mile engine should be relatively easy but far longer...

    Johnny Joint?

Okay what’s a Johnny Joint? From what I have gleaned flipping through the site, a JJ is a greaseable control arm end correct? Is this a control arm only thing? Or is anything with a greaseable spherical bearing a JJ? For instance would the JKS disconnect ends be considered JJ? Is it brand...

New member, purchasing a 2005 TJ

I’m going to buy a 2005 TJ. It has only 40,500 miles. It’s dead stock so after I get it I want to get lockers, winch and hard top. I’m new here. I’ll try to post pics after the deal is done.
