Wanted to see if this kind of rust is something I could fix myself or if a shop should do it.

I need to repaint my flares, the P/O plastidipped them and they’re bubbling and stained with mud. What grit should I use to sand them down? I’ve read anywhere from 250 to 1000 so I’m really not sure. Thanks.

Currently I have a 2” OME lift, and if I wanted to get 3” springs, the shocks would over extend, right? I also have a 1.25” body lift so I don’t want to go any higher with that. If I can’t use the OME shocks with taller springs, what’s a good combo of springs and shocks for a 3 or 3.5” lift?

Here’s the situation, I took off my A pillar light brackets and folded the windshield down without putting the bolts back in, and when I folded the windshield back up, the holes don’t line up and I can’t put the brackets back on. Any ideas as to why?

My TJ has 167K miles and I'd like to keep it through college, so the next 5 or 6 years. If I do regular maintenance, will it last? Based on what I've read, the 4.0L can last to 300K, but to be honest I think I'd feel better if I bought one with around 100K miles. Thoughts? Also - I know lots of...

My TJ has a rake and the front end is about 2" lower than the rear. I was planning to get coil spring spacers to level it out, but before I do, are there any major downsides? I read about vibrations from some reviews but I'd like to know if that's true.

My TJ has the Dana 35 and 30 and I want to run 35s. My question is, can I get away with this combo? I would also upgrade brakes and steering because those aren’t as expensive. The Jeep mostly sees forest service roads and mud, so no heavy wheeling.
