Looking for any advice or guidance on replacing the auto transmission cooling lines in a 2005-2005 TJ or LJ. Mine are leaking and need a full replacement. Is this a fairly straight forward job? Local mechanic wanted a good amount to do the work, so wanted to see if i was missing something...

If you just purchased it 24 hours prior, that to me would be an excellent market comp. That was the going rate for the exact vehicle. Do you have a bill of sale showing the purchase price, dated 24 hours prior? Do you have to disclose or provide proof of that when you registered the vehicle?

Its pretty large. 56” x 12” x 12”. About 20-25lbs i would estimate.

NY does, which is where I may not register next. NJ doesnt. This is a 48 or 49 state compliant version - so should be good for others as far as im aware. Let me know if youre interested.

Im in Essex County, about 15 minutes from Newark Airport. Ended up getting a Mopar replacement, in anticipation of needing to be NY compliant in the near term.

$700 Brand new and never installed. Flowmaster 2049179 model for 2004 to 2006 models. Pick up in NJ.

Installed today. They are amazing and seem to be excellent quality. Pretty sure they are brighter than the stock headlights (though that may not be saying much). Thanks again!

Pulled the upholstery off my 06. If someone is near NJ, can make a deal. Not sure worth to ship. Not perfect, but pretty good shape for the age and no major rips or holes

If it bothers you that much i would just get clear or black tinted side markers and call it a day. Hacking all this up sounds like it will end up looking bad. Other option could be just to fill in the existing hole and repaint?

Didnt they change from the “round back” to the “square back” style? The earlier TJs seem to have different seat shape than my 2006

Hi - is this your LJ with the TJ specific H&R springs (52107)? Having a hard time finding the LJ models in stock anywhere (52109) so thinking they may be discontinued.

Think these are one of the stock options on the JL. Maybe more luck with reviews and pics on those forums, but obviously a bigger size

Nice. Would try and do that or maybe even something with a dashcam before shelling out for the Mopar. My current mirror is looking a little ratty...

Yes I wouldnt buy it but others perhaps prefer the plug and play stock mopar option. Crazy how much some of this stock stuff gets online
