Here’s my green Jeep 😀

Here’s some before and after photos of the lowered Jeep. Went from 4.5 springs to 3.5. Swapped out the 35 Mickey Thompson’s for 33 BFG’s K02’s. Drives much better!!!!

One of the times I used Por-15 I got some on my forehead. When I tried to rub it off later I took all my skin off. I looked like a leper 🤪

Looking at replacing my rusted front anti-sway bar. I can go OEM or spend another $50+ and buy an 1 1/4 inch - bar. I think I read somewhere that the Jeep wouldn’t handle as well with the larger bar. Any thoughts please.

I used Eastwood internal frame coating.

If you do post it on Craigslist watch out for scams. One that I came across is the perspective buyer will ask you to run a car fax type report. They’ll send you the link... Ask me how I know 🤪

I replaced my rusted out 01 frame with an 03 frame. Steering box placement had to be modified (there are threads on this) and I had to buy a new belly pan for my rubicon express long arms. In total the swap cost me around 3k. I was fortunate as my brother- who has a garage shop - really helped...

Bought an 01 TJ in Ohio 19 years ago. With the winter road salts I always tried to keep the rust at bay. Por15, Eastwood frame internal coating etc... Thought I’d share a photo of how my frame ended up. The good news is I now have a new frame (03) on the Jeep that I got in California- no rust...
