I did a 7/8" transfer case drop chasing a driveline vibration. Turns out it was a front u-joint. I could probably take it back out but for my use it's not bothering me.

I just had mine done, my mechanic removed it and took it to a machine shop and had a Spicer u-joint and cvc joint installed. $275 total. Rides smooth as silk now.
