    Tire decision

Chris, Wondering if you can answer a question. I’m currently running BF Goodrich LT245/75R16 with stock MOAB rims on my ‘03 TJ. No lift! It’s time for some new sneakers and was thinking of 265 or even 285’s. The Jeep is a daily driver but wasn’t sure if it would need a 2” lift or not so to...

    Hardtop Storage

"VirtualRussel", I have a question for you. My TJ has 151,000 and I'm the third owner. The guy I bought it from said he's always used synthetic oil. Thoughts about synthetic vs. traditional oil... I'm having it changed tomorrow. Thanks, Tom Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hardtop Storage

Gentleman, I appreciate all the replies. All good stuff! Here in Rhode Island the past 1-1/2 months, it's pretty much been rain. Almost thinking I should've kept the top on. Anyway, per your posts, were big Maple Syrup and Bruins fans here. Although respect the hell out of Detroit as being part...

    Hardtop Storage

Wondering if any of you have ideas on storing the hardtops in the garage for the Summer season. Looking to somehow lift it up and hang it from the ceiling rafters. Any photos, or ideas would be appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Half door sliding window glass replacement.

So here's the deal! One of the sliding window panels on my drivers side half-doors shattered yesterday. Let's just say I left them in a "safe" place but through my negligence caused it to shatter. Any ideas where to get that replaced? I see no markings of any specific brand on the door. Thanks...

    2003 Wrangler soft top install

I must admit, this was a bear to get on and much more difficult than expected. Thanks for the advice gentleman. I'll see if I can locate the specifics in the manual. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2003 Wrangler soft top install

First time ever installing the soft top after the winter on my 2003 CJ. Not sure which mounting holes the soft top posts go into. It's a 2-post system. The shorter posts come down from the top then the rear 90 degree posts from the rear. Which posts go where and get screwed into the mounts on...

    31's or 32's, can't decide

Other than the roof rack, I like the look of the 32"s, but that's just my opinion. I suppose gas mileage isn't figured into the equation at this point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Please raise a glass with me

Stinger, My son is a Marine and I pray everyday for his safety. These stories are chilling to the bone every time I hear one. I can't tell you how proud I am of the work that is done over in the "badland". Stay strong man, and thanks for work you do! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Always on Fogs

I had the same issue with the fogs not working. Come to find out it was the factory switch on the directional column assembly. Yes, I broke down and had it replaced. I didn't want to have some aftermarket Chinese-made switch hacked into the dash. Fortunately, I'm back in business. Sent from...

    Jeep wave

I'm new to the whole Jeep world and can't agree with you more. My new (to me) '03 TJ is the balls. It's hardly an SUV, it's a Jeep!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How is torque delivered to the wheels on a 4x4?

@Jerry Bransford, as a new owner of a 2003 TJ, and new to the Jeep world, if that write-up doesn't explain how 4-wheel drive works, nothing will. Fantastic article. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
