    Portable Refrigerator

I bought a used ARB for our Moab trip last year. It was fantastic. As some others have said once you get one you'll never go back. I 100% agree with that.

Well I've started buying things again. Went ahead and ordered a RubiCrawler. I figured I need to pull the transfer case for the SYE I might as well add in the RubiCrawler at the same time. Also, ordered the G2 Core 44 front axle with Eaton ELocker and 5.38 gears. I'm looking forward to...

Haha doubt that happens. Sadly, I haven't had them offroad yet to build an opinion of them yet. But we do have big plans for it this year.

Tire Decision In Absence of 35x12.50x15 MT/R

Quite a bit but I guess that's kind of relative. Our local (midwest) wheeling has a lot of dirt/mud covered rocks. I do try to stick to the rocks as much as possible. I really hate mud. However, these have been out to Moab, Pennsylvania, Colorado twice, South Dakota. They've seen a lot of both...

Tire Decision In Absence of 35x12.50x15 MT/R

Here are my Coopers after a little over 40k miles and going on their 5th year. I would expect similar out or the MT Baja Boss.

Tire Decision In Absence of 35x12.50x15 MT/R

I've been running the Cooper STT Pros on my JKU for around 40k miles. I've really liked them both on and off road. However, I decided to try the Baja Boss for my LJ. Unfortunately, I haven't taken them off road yet to provide a review. I've run KO2s, Trxus, Wrangler MTR, KM2, and whatever the...

33's or 35's with Metalcloak Overline fenders?

You can do a lot of wheeling on 33's. This was my TJ with a 2" Old Man Emu lift and a 1.25 body lift with 33" tires. I later went bigger but shouldn't have. This was a fantastic setup for both on and off-road.

I only think I will regret the decision because of what was said above. I am wanting to re-gear and add a locker as well as new shafts and I just don't want to do that on a Dana 30. So the amount I would be putting into this axle isn't exactly cheap. From my understanding the D44s I am looking at...

I'll probably regret it but I just can't see putting money into a Dana 30. I am pretty sure I am just going to stick with the initial plan of getting a Dana 44. Leaning towards the G2 Core 44 but haven't finalized anything just yet.

Should I just stick with my stock Dana 30 and put 5.13s in it? This is by far the cheapest/easiest option. Would you still put a selectable locker in a LP 30? I suppose I could go get a HP30 for not too much. I'm just trying to figure the best path forward before spending money on the regear.

Getting ready to order some more parts. I saw in @Irun post that @mrblaine said he wouldn't want a HP Dana 44 if it were laying on the ground waiting to go in. EEKS I didn't want to clog up Irun's thread but I did want to follow up with that. I am looking at doing just that. I am wanting to regear...

    Shocks: Gas Charged vs Hydraulic

I didn't think hydraulic allowed the same level of rebound. Maybe I'm stereotyping but I thought with hydraulic if you were to fully compress it without a load it would very slowly work its way back out. Where with a gas shock it would not only decompress quicker but would have more resistance...

Not really TJ/LJ related but this is the reason it's spending some time out at the airport. We are doing a lot of maintenance on the JKU. Replacing the radiator, resealing some problem areas on the power steering, and then doing some changes to the steering setup. Going from a draglink flip back...

We installed some TMR hinge bushings and the half doors. The drivers side stock bushings were a pita to get out. They were so rusted. Oddly enough the passengers side wasn't an issue at all. Then we took it out to the airport where it will stay for a week or so. It's with good company...
