Help with a front pinion angle question

IIRC, the rear pinion angle is good at 2 degrees angled downward. And the front was opposite, 2 degrees angled upwards? Or is it better to be closer to 0 degrees in front? And in the front, would that apply regardless of low pinion or high? Just wanna make sure I got this straight in my mind...

Has anyone wheeled Moonrocks outside Sparks Nevada?

I was in Sparks visiting friends, talking about wheeling my Jeep when my friend asked me if I’d heard of Moonrocks. He showed me a couple YouTube videos about the place, and it looks interesting. Any of you ever wheeled there?

Help with a front drive shaft question

Hey guys, correct me if I’m wrong. Am I ok with disconnecting my front DS at the diff yoke, tying it up, and driving around? I need to isolate the rear DS from the front to check for vibration. I seem to remember that it’s ok to do, but I wanna make sure. Thanks! 😸

Dana HP 30 axle shaft install question

Going to be installing axles in the HP 30 and I wanted to know about the oil slingers. Should I be using them, and if so, where exactly do they sit on the shaft? Noob question, I know, but I’m not pulling the stock axles to see where they sit, and I don’t know if they’re an important item.

    Rubi Dana 44 axle question

With regard to a 2004 Rubicon Dana 44, are the axles anything special? Are they bigger or tougher, or alloy perhaps? I’m planning to put my Dutchman chrome-moly axles in my Rubi Dana 44 before I install it it my Jeep, but I was wondering if I was missing something about the axles that are in it stock.

Sierra gears and axles, anybody use them?

I've got a quote I'm mulling over from Folbeck 4X4 in Reno to do my gears, e-lockers and front axles. They're using Sierra gears and axles. Any experience with Sierra gears or axles? FWIW, their quote was $6900.00 out the door parts and labor. Front and rear diff's. Thoughts, opinions?

I'm looking for a shop to do my re-gear and locker install, and I found this place. https://www.folbeck.com/ By their own admission they have the best gear guy in the Reno/Sparks area. I'm having them work up an estimate, and I'll have more estimates from other shops before I choose, but I...

California OEM AM / FM CD player

This is a radio/CD unit for the factory sub-woofer system. It’s out of my 2002 Wrangler. This is a refurbished unit from M&R electronics in Michigan. It works perfectly, I only swapped it out because I didn’t like the back lighting color. I paid $180.00 for it last April. I have the receipt if...
