North Carolina 04 Tj Rubicon Mid-Arm for sale

I’ve decided to sell my 04 Tj-R. I planned on holding on to this for the long haul but situations change and I would rather have some more money towards my family’s goals rather than this Jeep that unfortunately mostly collects dust. I built it a few years ago. I started with a super clean Jeep...

    WTB: Rubicon Locker Actuator

All of the Crown parts are drop ship from manufacturer, these sites don’t physically stock them. Crown doesn’t have any to ship at the moment.

    WTB: Rubicon Locker Actuator

Im in search of a stock Rubicon locker actuator (52104611AA). I know it’s a long shot but I’d really like to just fix my stock locker for now. Dealer locator came up empty and sites claiming to stock them are drop ship from manufacturer that doesn’t have them. Anyone have one laying around they...

    P0171 after head gasket replacement

There is most likely a vacuum leak somewhere. Best way to find it is with a smoke machine if you have one available. If not, do you have a scanner that shows live data available?

04 TJR “While I'm at it” Mid-Arm Build

Thought I posted these but I don’t see them in here...🤷🏻‍♂️ Jeep did great at Uwharrie! Did a day trip. It’s a bit under a 1.5 hour trip. Drove it there, wheeled all day, and drove back. It did all the trails no problem! Can’t wait to plan some more trips!

Took the Acos spacers out today. Stance is much better, feels better on the road too. Just need to install the sliders and it is Uwharrie ready!

    Crankshaft moves in and out

So your crank was turned and polished, not replaced, correct? Did you seat the thrust bearings upon assembly and measure crank end play?

The unfortunate TJ of the day thread

Wow, is this Jeep in NC??? I think this bumper came off my first TJ. I took it off IMMEDIATELY and gave it to a buddy. I thought he was cutting it up. Apparently it made it onto another TJ!

Update: JK NP241OR sounds like a box of rocks—need help diagnosing 8.8 rear axle noise

Does that bearing roller look ok? Can’t tell if it is just lighting or dirt

I noticed that, the first video worked ok but the second one didn’t? When I get them all stitched together I’ll post a link to it. It will be too big to attach here. Thanks!

04 TJR “While I'm at it” Mid-Arm Build

Yea, I’ll post more when I take some. I’m actually going to ditch the Acos and bring the front down an inch. I installed it because the front end of my last TJ sagged too low with the same springs, this one did not and is a bit too high.

What do I need a waterproof to go through high water?

I agree you should avoid high water if possible. It can not only turn disastrous rapidly, its also hard on your rig. If you do take it though high water at least check your diffs, t-case, and trans for water contamination. Fluid will milkshake, bearings will get angry.
