Currently between TJ’s but through this was worth posting. Someone hit my wife’s car when it was parked, and it went into the shop for repairs today. I borrowed my father’s JK, stock but with 33’s, so my wife could use my recently purchased JKU while the kids are on school vacation.

I just used some aluminum angle and some self-tappers to make a bracket. I’ll weld something up for the permanent fix, but it’s good enough for now. Because the light is still legit.

This is what was going to suggest. Disappointed they don’t offer the mounting plate anymore. But the led, housing and harness are top notch.

If a spoke has AEV on it, it’s the redesigned one. Without the letters, it’s harder to pinpoint if it’s from the time when there were the cracking issues.

I used each of these with my last two LJs. when combined with the frame tie-in brackets, they work great for the use you're describing. The plus of the NV over the Swag is that it includes the safety chain attachments. I would use the dimple die holes in the Swag plate on that bumper. IMO...

I'll never forget having my windshield folded down and sliding my pole bag right through the center of my first TJ to head to a street vault... What I didn't realize is that it was sitting on my rearview mirror. One cracked windshield later, lesson learned!

There's a '97-'02 4 cylinder frame on FB Marketplace in MA for $2k. Sounds like 6 cylinder motor mounts could be added. Or you could add them yourself if willing/able. That seller regularly brings back CJ, YJ & TJ stuff back from out west.

I didn't. I got a new job with a longer commute, so I sold the LJ and bought a JL Rubicon. I bought a new Bosch fuel pump but never got around to installing it. I think the new owner is on the board, but I don't know where things stand... I thought I saw he got the pump in but I don't know...
