    Bent vs Straight control arms

I do seem to remember that if the bend points up the end won’t fit in the frame side because of the angle. So, at least on mine the bend has to point down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How do I determine how much to move exhaust?

It doesn’t. Or not that I could find. I had a relocation bracket on before I got the metalcloak, and I wasn’t sure if I could just use that bracket or if I needed to use one that metalcloak sends with it. So I emailed metalcloak and the respone was that the bracket was made to get the track bar...

    Steering Geometry Question

I square my rear axle ( and I’m sure there are many ways to do it) by hanging plumb bobs off each end of the rear axle. Then I take a tape measure and hook it to the front of the skid plate facing the front axle. I measure each side then I make control arm adjustments until they are money. Then...

How do I determine how much to move exhaust?

I think getting the SYE and new drive shaft will help you. I got the same track bar and I have an SYE and cv drive shaft and I have no interference with the exhaust. I think the cv bracket that came with your track bar is made for a rig that has an SYE and cv drive shaft. W Sent from my iPhone...

    Steering Geometry Question

By that print out. Have you checked ball joints?? I would work on my toe and my thrust angle. Squaring the rear to the frame fixes the thrust angle. Then square front axle to rear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Steering Geometry Question

No apologies needed. I just just joking around. Nice story about the door and I totally understand about the CA’s. I can visualize exactly what your saying. Moving one is alway going to affect the other, so you have to find the sweet spot of what your trying to do by moving both. Trying to get...

    Steering Geometry Question

Is it pulling hard to the left or tracking left??? I always thought that if you take your hands off the wheel and it pull fast to the left then it could be a different problem than it slowly tracking left. Toe in and tire pressure would be my first place to look As for the control arms. Maybe...

    Steering Geometry Question

Lowers are for moving the axle back and forth. Extend or shorten both the same length to move your axle forward or backwards. Only reason that you would make them a different length is to square your axle to the opposite axle. If your axles are not parallel with each other then yes your jeep...

    Vibrations after re-gear

The trans mount seems like a good idea considering the high rate of spinning that is going on all over the jeep at 3000 rpm's. I put metalcloak track bar on my jeep and been very happy with them. I just keep going back to my rear pinion yoke. It's the only thing that hasn't been changed. My SSYE...

    Vibrations after re-gear

I know I said I removed the front drive shaft and then ones went away. Well I did it again and the vibes were totally still there. I guess I convinced myself in my head that they went away. So now I leaning towards the rear. I drove to the mountains and back this weekend and it was all...
