    Troubleshooting Help

As in “what brand and model of plugs did you buy and install to replace the spark plugs that were in the Jeep?”

Help with vibration felt in seat

I think @jxv1247 is pointing it at the Output, but as I've seen some suggest, rather that exactly at the Output on the TC, some suggest a little (in this instance 0.8 degrees below) so that under load some have said the pinion will rotate up some. So it is set to what you're suggesting. One...

    The Original TJ Bottle Jack

Probably yes. At minimum, a really long extension and the socket and chisel, and a ratchet. I carry multiple batteries and my torque wrench with me when I'm out. I was thinking a super cheap long extension from Harbor Freight and grind it to fit the jack may be better. Can actually stick the...

    The Original TJ Bottle Jack

This post and pic from @JEEPCJTJ was immensely helpul. I pulled my Jack out to make sure it works, as I've used the floor jack and been very lucky not needing this in the field. Almost impossible to use. Certainly impossible to get out of the Jeep by hand, as it pressure fitted to hold him...

Help with vibration felt in seat

I would have contacted TW, Shawn emails back quickly, and seen if that can be corrected. That’s just me, because I know he would help me chase any vibe. I would still pull the rear DS, drive 4H. Just stay off the accelerator in turns. Go get on the open road and see what it feels like.

Recommendations for Upgrading Stereo & Speakers

I’m curious about your setup mentioned. 1. You have 5 1/4 in tbe dash, that with adapter I get and am doing. 2. You said you have tweeters up on the dash (assuming in the corners?). Any pics? 3. Were the tweeters and 5 1/4 a set? Did you buy separately? 4. You said powered by 4 channel amp...

Recommendations for Upgrading Stereo & Speakers

I’m curious what Amp you got, and where under the dash you mounted it? Did you take any pics? I’ve got a Pioneer single din, it’s ok and all, but I got my son a double din with Car Play for his JK, and now I’m in, ha. The amp, I’m curious about yours you mentioned.

Help with vibration felt in seat

So you’re saying you have a SYE. Do you have adjustable control arms, a Double Cardan Drive Shaft? When messing with pinion angle…that should be set by pointing the Yoke at the TC output. You said you pulled the front DS, have you pulled the rear drive shaft and seen if you get the vibes?

    2005 Wrangler not starting

Certainly when I hear click no turn over, I would start with the starter, as it’s the most simple solution, and the issue fits. Yes you can jump it with a large screwdriver. If it kicks over, I’d disconnect the battery and pull the starter and have Napa test the starter before you buy one...

Front differential leak, should I just redo the RTV?

Looks like 23.2% give or take .08%. But I’m just eye balling it! Ha

    Super 35 / CCE question

I wouldn’t argue with anyone over it, but I would “personally” never get an autolocker like that on my Jeep again. It clicked non stop, we have Round abouts in our neighborhood, and I had to 100% coast if I didn’t want clicking, and it was pretty loud. Not a biggie, I just wouldn’t choose it...

TJ Unlimited Rubicon Front Driveshaft U-Joint

On that, I won’t anymore, ha. It’s easier to drop it than get my hands up there with those little dam bolts. This is mine but I have a Tom Wood’s shaft.

On the pinion end, that tab holds the caps in, look closely, you’ll see a raised tab on the pinion flange.

Side mirrors: old style versus new

Here they are, they look stock or better to me, ha.

Side mirrors: old style versus new

Yep, only a couple weeks, but I've driven it a lot, and they look and act like stock, and zero issues.

    Removal of infinity speaker grills

Agree, they come with new grills, buy the new ones, you'll see, and then pry the old off with seriousness.

    Removal of infinity speaker grills

Pics? My guess, press fit. Pry them off if there is no screw showing. Look them up, find the install directions, and do the reverse.

    Eaton E-locker Question

Check that, saw on another thread and forum, someone talked to Eaton. I'll take their word, and they said between 3.5 and 6.2 ohms is in spec. Also, they pointed out that Eaton themselves stated the ramp style locker is difficult to sometimes impossible to get to engage on jack stands, I'm...

    Eaton E-locker Question

You're seeing 6 ohms? I have two Eaton E Lockers here in a box (used) and I see 3.8 ohms on both. Now I'm wondering if they may need a new magnet before I put one in my son's JK.
