97 TJ. 2.5 manual. Every time I crank it and start to drive, it’ll “lope” like it’s about to die for a few seconds then will be fine. Anyone have any idea what this might be?

After one week of use, the halos quit working. The lights and turn signal part work, but the halos are just dead. Any idea what it could be or what I could do?

The ones on the Jeep are 33x12.5x15 new ones will be 35x12.5x17

So I bought a 97’ and it had a 6” RC lift kit. Currently has 33s but I’m having 35s pit on this week. With that aside, I don’t like it that high. I didn’t know if I would need a whole new setup or if it could be adjusted?

Thanks for the replies. I’m about to check it out now. I’ve only had the Jeep for 3 weeks now. Just trying to make it how I want it. I just got it back from the paint shop yesterday. I’ll post a pic after I get the grill installed (y’all will hate it 🙃)

Ok, I haven’t looked under the hood at all. But hopefully it’ll be easy. Do I need anything special to disconnect them from the battery?

I’m trying to install a new grill and I’ve no nothing about a wench. Previous owner had it installed. How do I disconnect these hoses or whatever they are lol (don’t hate)

I would light to install some RGB halos. I currently have some led lights in that are a nice bright, almost blue (but not quite) lights. Previous owners installed. I like the brightness and clarity of it now and was wondering would getting halos... would the headlights that come with those be...

Yeah I’m just gonna stick with 33s. Is fixing the speedometer from stock to having 33s a big deal?

I’ll stick with the 33s. I wish I could at least do 17” rims but I think it would look odd. I wish they didn’t put a 6” lift kit. 4” would have been better suited but it’s my first Jeep and I have plenty of time to make it how I want it

Got my first Jeep. It’s a 97 TJ. 4 banger. Has 4.10 gears with 15” rims and 33” tires. If I want to go to 17 rims and 35 tires, will a 4.88 gear handle it or will it be too much for the 4 cylinder?
