Ford 7.3L V8 Godzilla swap information

I must have missed the name you were called?? I re-read the post and I still don't see it. I say again...the OP's first listing of manual transmissions available are all too high of gear. It absolutely has nothing to do with automatics. I'm not sure if it bothers you someone would prefer a...

Ford 7.3L V8 Godzilla swap information

LOL... I'm fully aware of what the torque converter does but you're missing the point entirely so allow me to clarify x2. I clearly said I'm a manual person. What that means is I prefer to drive a Jeep with a manual. Speaking for others who prefer a manual it doesn't matter what automatic is...

Ford 7.3L V8 Godzilla swap information

It is when you prefer a manual... "Doubling horsepower and torque helps too." On the highway. There is no substitute for gearing on the trails.

Ford 7.3L V8 Godzilla swap information

So what. You might live in a cookie cutter world but that doesn't mean everyone else does. It's 2021...not 1998, or 88 or 78... Custom made whatever can be had via many sources present day from headers to motor mounts, bell housings and so on. While custom items can cost more you don't go...

    Bestop replace-a-top fitment

Something is off key here. Bestop can and does make errors but these tops are mass produced. They do have templates and computer controlled sewing..etc. Either the wrong item was ordered...perhaps labeled wrong from the factory and picked correctly in the warehouse.?. I've never seen a...

Looking for any help with the dreaded misfire issue

Look into that plug. Try the Volkswagen test... Wiggle it... Perhaps the contacts are making connection but once you're past that point it loses contact once snapped in place.

Was the windshield glass ever any different from 97-06?

So you'll mess around with all that...risk breaking it (which then is on you) for about a hundred dollar bill? I understand being thrifty but... Thats an extra 100 well spent 😎

Mountain of new parts in the barn but my body isn’t allowing me to install them

Being in business I don't get that type of gratification from my own stuff. Matter of fact my stuff gets put on the back burner because of course...you know...i don't make money off myself. Other things however I learn and do...I can porcelain tile a floor now like a champ... shit like that...

Master cylinder brake line size / fittings

There are no metric 1.25 threads used with 3/16th line or the factory metric line equivalent. Make new ones.. Use 3/16 line Nickel copper works well especially making a lot of bends or tight bends. You can make them with your hands. The MC fittings are M12x1.0 and M10x1.0 and they are a...

Adjustable front track bar without drilling or additional bump?

This... True 2.5" lifts track bar change isn't needed. And if u-joints are in top working it keeps the vibes in check. We see a lot of lifts (mostly on XJ's and WJ's) that all this money is spent getting a 4 or 6 inch lift yet get longer sway bar links that won't disconnect. Truly stunning...

One of the main reasons I love these TJs

My favorite thing is the crisp air hitting the face. I hate the heat (t-shirt weather starts at 50° for me) 48° if it's sunny.. Anyways a nice cool summer evening/night...cool fall day... Absolutely love that air hitting the face. All is right in the world at that moment.
