What did you do to your TJ today?

Good to find it early. I've had Lyme twice and also ehrlichiosis (another tick borne disease). They can also mess with your memory as well. Don't forget to take probiotics after your jaunt with the antibiotics. Antibiotics can mess with your gut health. Then you won't be able to enjoy...

On the fence for this one

A good frame repair wouldn't turn me away. I purchased one for my daughter with just the lower area of the frame in bad shape. The rest was unbelievably clean for a NE Jeep. I trailered the Jeep to RI to Autorust (the guys who make SafeTCaps and let them do it. That was in 2019. The Jeep is...

    Cruise control cable

Unless its an aftermarket cruise control, the cable doesn't go inside the cab. Its goes from the throttlebody to the servo module on the driver's fender. Not sure what that cable goes to.

Should the multifunction switch harness look like this?

Actually, my son's was much easier. Since the old connector was quite brittle from the heat, I was able to break it apart and reuse all the wires and metal pins intact. I just kept the order of wires the same and the metal pins on each wire just clicked into the new connector.

    Brake disc question

Interesting. I do remember Burnsville Offroad having some web pages about it but that was a long time ago. I just remember people doing it from the time I joined the old Jeeps Unlimited forums. LOL. Your name kept coming up back then as the all knowing WJ conversion guy.

    Brake disc question

I've done this route on my WJ conversion but check with @mrblaine. I believe you are better off with Ford SportTrac rotors. I can't remember the year. @mrblaine would know all about it. I believe he was the original master mind on that conversion.

How do I un-FUBAR this driveshaft mod?

I've used those Tap Extractors in the machine shop many times. It will depend on whether the tap is intact or cracked and broken. If cracked and broken, you won't have a good chance. In either case when I was working in the machine shop, the tap extractor worked 2 out of 10 times.

My son's connector looked like that. I replaced it . Something was hot at one time but it seems to be fine now. After I replaced it, its been fine.

Where can I find a 2000 TJ factory printed manual?

I actually like the PDF version. It's easier to clean the keyboard on my laptop than the pages of a book. Using the search function is easier as well.

    Question on Rubicrawler and stopping

I've been trying to convince my son to get the Rubi-Crawler for his for that very reason but his money is best spent elsewhere at this time.
