I have a 97 4 cylinder that is leaking oil from the pressure switch. Confirmed that it isn't leaking down from valve cover. I have a new Mopar pressure switch, but is it ever necessary to replace the right angle connector that comes out of the block? I couldn't find a part number in the parts...

Just worked this out myself the other weekend while completing an axle switch. Had to walk down the street and take a picture of a neighbor's TJ to confirm, but the cable goes to the rear of the sway bar end links.

And for comparison, I have another Dana 35 here with what I think is an OEM seal and that sits even deeper than where I am with my replacement. So good to go?

That chamfer is where I set the seal to on the other side, then went back and questioned if the other was too deep

ok, maybe I'll just get another one and set it flush to the axle face. The seal that I took out was a different style, it had a lip that went over the face of the axle tube, which sets the depth of the seal. All the seals that I can see now don't seem to be made like that. Thanks

What is the proper depth for the axle seal? FSM doesn't seem to specify if it is supposed to be flush with the face of the axle tube, or seated as far as it can go in? I drove this one in without much effort and the bearing spins fine. Just wondering if this is an issue or not. Seal and...

yes, which is why I had initially thought u-joints as well. Went ahead and replaced both sides with Spicer 5-760X u-joints. It almost seems like the spiders aren't engaging, if that is even possible. I had the cover off and it wasn't a disaster inside as far as I could tell

U-joints on both sides are new, the noise is definitely coming out of the diff
