Don’t bother with a locking gas cap… Had a customer call today that had a hole drilled in their tank!

    Circular Saw: 6-1/2" or 7-1/4"

I would put the 7-1/4 saw in your hand with batteries. With the two battery setup it will be heavy and awkward. I also second the idea of getting the blade on the side you feel comfortable with.

Regular vs non ethanol (premium) fuel

I’m not sure if this is true for everywhere but here in Nebraska they changed the lowest octane ratings coming in to large bulk fuel storage/pipeline facilities to around an 84 octane, to make the minimum 87 required here it’s either blended with ethanol or premium fuel which is why the non...

    Savvy Taillight?

I started installing my new taillights today and was able to get the drivers side done. My problem is that the housing doesn’t sit flush against the body. It has an even 1/16-1/8in gap. I’m worried about dust, dirt & gravel getting behind there. Is this gap normal? Thanks

Does a bolt go into the power steering pump pulley?

No it is a press fit. The threads inside are used to install the pulley with a p/s pulley installation tool.

    Low Heat Issue

To flush the heater core unhook both heater hoses and hook up the garden hose one at a time and run water back and forth until it is clean both ways. These TJ’s are one of the easiest vehicles to flush and you should be able to be done in well under an hour even with a couple drinks involved!

Stuck with this paint color forever?

My thoughts are find the best low mileage option you can and go for that over color. I’m not a huge red fan but when a 42k mile LJ popped up I went for it due to the low miles.

12V crimp / solder connectors & power distribution block

I have had good luck over the years with the crimp connectors that have the heat shrink built in, not the ones that include solder just the heat shrink. It says something to me that both GM and Chrysler send that style with most of their pigtail kits.
