    SOLD Dana 35

Drum brake equipped rear Dana 35 with 30 spline motive chrome moly axles, detroit locker, 4:56 gears. Tubes welded to center section. The locker works but randomly unlocks when driving straight, nothing in it is damaged, couldn't figure it out so I replaced it. This should fit Jeep TJ from...

Wrecked my Jeep and seeking advice

An attorney gave me the attached. I'm sure some of the the information is different since each state has different laws but may give you some guidance.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Today I was able to verify my new front brake lines are long enough and enjoy not being at work.

The unfortunate TJ of the day thread

I like your attitude Zorba. You're a glass half full kind of person. I only see shit, you see a custom map lite 😁.

I thought there was a law against desecrating Old Glory?

Is Amsoil as good as they say?

I wish someone would start a thread about the best oil for a hi-lift jack.

    UCF engine skid install

Had the same issue about a week ago. Instructions could've been better. I saw a YT video that was helpful for the orientation. I was able to turn the nut enough on the motor mount side so that the strut just touches the flat of the nut but fits fine, if that makes sense. Based on your photo...

    Need advice for a newbie

x2 I can't think of a way a BL would cause your stated issue. A suspension lift with factory trackbar setup will shift the axle driver side though I wouldn't think enough to cause interference with DS/DP; if anything it would move DS further from exhaust... but your Jeep doesn't appear to have...

    Oil pan bolts loose!

Not normal. NVH isn't a huge issue with 4.0s. Guess is previous owner didn't get them tight enough. Not sure of the specification but I'd shoot for 8-10 ft. Lb. Monitor after that then maybe some blue loctite after cleaning oil from bolts.

    Issue engaging 4 low

As others have said, sounds like a linkage issue. I've heard nothing but good things about the Savvy cable; that said, I've got a Novak linkage setup in mine and it's been great as I've swapped out different body lift pucks and motor mount lifts. Mentioning as something to consider as a fan of...

Spark plug removal on TJ 97

I've been wrenching for years and pretty much never used to do this but, consider disconnecting your battery. I wasn't paying attention when changing out #2 cylinder plug and my ratchet welded itself to a non-insulated alternator terminal; fortunately, the fusible wire saved my harness but it...

OBA tank vs no tank: How long does it take to fill your tires?

Usually between 1-26.5 minutes, depending on which regulator I have on my LP tank.

    Rockjock (Currie) front spring updates

I'll have to see which fronts I received from Savvy a week or two back. I know they sent me 4.5" rears so I was concerned I may end up with too much rake. Looks fine to me...

32's and the 3.07 rear diff

Only chiming in to share my experience on driveability... My cj7 with 2.73s on 33s with t5 was an awful driving experience and part of why i sold it. Didn't want to spend the money on new carriers and gears for Dana 30 & amc20 or upgrade to new stronger housings. In hilly areas I'd leave the hubs...

    Savvy (nonexistent) customer service

Last week those BL's were on backorder only so I went with Rokmen though I do prefer the look of Savvy and RJ's encapsulated puck design. Was website showing them available when you placed the order or is that something else I can pretend bitch about? Honestly just glad to get my 2" BL off, it...
