2000 TJ Radiator Drain Valve Leak

Running coolant or water? Water alone will freeze and expand creating that issue.

2000 TJ Radiator Drain Valve Leak

Other possibility is removing the radiator taking it to a radiator shop for a pressure test. It may help.

2000 TJ Radiator Drain Valve Leak

Have you check around the valve if there is a hairline crack that when the metal contracts due to cold it opens. By the same token when it's hot the coolant circulates and the possible metal crack closes. A propane torch and some plumber lead it may be the solution but make sure is there and not...

What is the OPDA and do I need to change mine?

My understanding is that a recall was never issued. The Jeep community found that the "offending" OPDA had two O rings in the shaft to the oil pump causing that the top one never received lubrication. Crown, jumped to the occasion and offered a version with the top one eliminated. That's it.

Vents usually only blow cold air on the floor

Is there any "dirty" way to check it out and find the culprit? I've seen some test with volatiles in you tube but it is not safe. I suspect that it may be inside the cabin. I already visually checked hose from the manifold to the one way valve, down to the little tank under the battery.

Vents usually only blow cold air on the floor

Can anybody throw some light into this issue? I own a 2004 Wrangler X(TJ) that most of the time directs the cold air to the floor. Very little to the central and side vents. I already replaced the electric vent actuator. It's more apparent in recirculating mode. If I place the direction knob to...

Installing factory fog lights on a pre-wired TJ

Midtenn, that connector you found it's not actually for the fog lights. That one is to connect the temperature sensor used for the mirror display who features this option.

Installing factory fog lights on a pre-wired TJ

The switch should be rated on 2 amps or above since the spot light current goes through it instead of the relay.

Installing factory fog lights on a pre-wired TJ

A switch beside the O/D may be the correct call. In my case I installed the relay and changed the Multi Swicth but what I've learned is that the relay is just to turn off the spot lights when you activate the high beams. Bending one of the relay terminals will defeat this purpose.

What is the OPDA and do I need to change mine?

The OPDA with problems is on 05-06 models. Your's as mine are different. 04 models are not part of the noisy issue.

Mystery wires on top of dashboard (or at least a mystery to me)

Thanks. That's MIA in either side of my 2004 TJ (X). One more reason not to spend in that direction.

    Center Console Subwoofer

Also should considered adding sound insulation. I purchased the attached. Expensive but effective. $59.99 per box in ebay. I used it everywhere and the tin can sound is no more. Also polyfill should complement it. Rip your cheap pillows.

Gauging interest on the CJ / JL grille overlay for the TJ

I do like it but can't commit to paying upfront at the moment. It would be also more interesting if fog/spot lights could be added below each headlight and leave turns signals where they are.
