    Tpms sensors

So this is Toyota related thread not Jeep related, do any of y’all have familiarity with Toyota TPMS sensors? For starters I will say I hate these things and I would rather disable them on any and all cars I ever own. However Toyota is harder to reprogram than my f-150 which I have disabled via...

Journey towards armor for the LJ

As I continue down the expensive journey called owning and wheeling a Jeep I am trying to determine which route I should go with armor. I am assuming sticking with one brand of armor so it all meshes nicely is the best bet but could use some more guidance. I also have a feeling a majority are...

    SOLD Dirtworx bumper

Just took delivery a couple of weeks ago but I’ve decided to go with just a bumper for now. This was ordered with through welded steel pipe to flush mount a pair of Rigid Industries reverse lights that I bought from amazon. Pipe is welded on both sides of bumper so inside remains sealed as...

    Thunderer Trac Grip MT Tires

I had a set of their AT’s on my old Silverado no complaints. Buddy put a set of MT’s on a Durango and didn’t have any complaints aside from tough to balance. Once they were though no issues. As with many cheaper tires they can be good of bad, consistency between batches is the issue. My buddy...

    Best phone holder options?

Here’s what I did. I’ve got a scosche magic mount setup in all our cars. I had to get creative with the Jeep but it works great and holds up while on the trail too. I found a little bolt that fit inside the socket. Then because the bolt was there had to file the back of the ball off to pan the...

    Texas Texas Jeepers!

Barnwell is awesome! I’ll be at Hot Springs offroad last weekend of April with a large group from Louisiana if you or anyone else want to join us. KOA is 5 minutes outside the park and has very reasonable cabin prices. Also 10 minutes from the downtown strip. Makes for an awesome weekend

What's a good hardtop hoist DIY frame?

Not to knock the way y’all are doing it but why is everyone insisting on a sling style of hanging? Is this so you can lower it directly onto the Jeep? Why not build a low profile frame under the top to support top from the bottom?

What's a good hardtop hoist DIY frame?

This is how I wanted to do it with pulleys a winch and all the goodies. I opted out as I didn’t trust myself to stop the winch at the exact moment and avoid cracking the top breaking windows or some other mishap. I know tons do it this way without issue but I know myself well, I’ll just...

What's a good hardtop hoist DIY frame?

I built a frame to mimick the side rails of the tub to prevent any warping and then it is bolted to the frame in 4 places. Haha I customer built my home with tall everything. When lowering it does take a lot of time because as you stated lower one corner and it’s all lopsided however since...

What's a good hardtop hoist DIY frame?

Here’s what I did in my garage. I built a frame out of 2x2’s and bolted the hardtop to it. I laid a piece of foam on top of hard top so it stays in place when raised. I then put all my other Jeep pieces inside the hardtop when it’s raised and back seat when not in use. When hard top is on In...
