Rear drum brakes chattering after drum replacement / service

I recently had my brake pads and front rotors/rear drums replaced, as they hadn't been serviced in a while. The mechanic had to flush the rear brake fluid as well. I noticed a new chattering/chirping noise at lower speeds that stop as soon as I apply pressure to the brakes. I took it back and it...

Rattles inside A/C air recirculator door

Before y'all say "It's a jeep thing", there is a buzzing that only started recently and it is generally only apparent around 2500 rpm. It's driving me absolutely nuts. It is coming from under the dash and sure enough, I reached inside the air recirculator door after hitting around the area and...

    WTB: Cruise control parts

I have a mostly stock 1999 SE, which means zero comforts and conveniences off the lot. There is no prewiring so I also need some harnesses/pigtails if possible. Basically I need: Cruise control servo with bracket Clock spring with CC wiring Steering wheel buttons Wire harnesses Anything else...

    Re-gearing made a huge difference

Does this regear affect high speed such as freeway travel or lower the max speed?

What did you do to your TJ today?

Decided to go back to a stock shift knob. There's just something so perfect about it.

What did you do to your TJ today?

I already have it so it's kinda too late anyway. It'll give extra fender clearance

Just finished the 2 inch BDS spring install. It feels like a huge difference. Now I gotta take it to the shop for the 1/2" body lift

    WTB: Hardtop

I did recently get a new soft top, but I still eventually want to get a hardtop but can't at the moment due to budget. Just out of curiosity, how much are you selling for?

What manual shifter knob do you have?

I got it from Redline Goods and they have an installation guide. Just a heads up if you're gonna get any leather boot and it seems too small, just soak it in warm water and stretch it over.

What manual shifter knob do you have?

I liked the stock shifter, but I wanted to replace the boot, so I had to tear it up and get a new one. I now have a JDM car shifter and didn't realize how small it was, though it's pretty solid for 10 bucks. Might try to find a stock replacement, though.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Got around to replacing my hit-and-run victim of a stock bumper. Now the gas tank looks a bit exposed, but I'll fix that after the body lift.

A recipe for an affordable but quality 2.5" lift

I already have 31s and I'm not really planning one going any bigger with my little 4-banger.

A recipe for an affordable but quality 2.5" lift

I think that's a fair sentiment. I'm relatively new to the world of lifts, so just to be clear, I don't NEED an SYE and adjustable control arms to drive safely on the road without too much discomfort, right? I would certainly love to fine tune it with the necessary parts, but as you said, funds...

A recipe for an affordable but quality 2.5" lift

Would foregoing of the 1/2 inch body lift reduce some strain on the drivetrain? Or even better, would a transfer case drop eliminate the need for an SYE in the case of this 2.5 inch lift?

A recipe for an affordable but quality 2.5" lift

Would a slip yoke eliminator be required for all this to go smoothly? They certainly don't come cheap so I just want to be sure.
