Well today I have 35s but may never go beyond 37s for sure. I wondered if it is best to go hydro assist now and be done or not sweat it. This is the OEM gear box from a 97 but until I bought it 2 years ago it was not wheeled at all.

Yeah I was kinda skeptical of that cage. The likelihood of me rolling in my TJ is low given where I use it but still good to know you got coverage if you did including on the road.

you have the smitybilt or rock hard?

Any one have any experience with the Smitybilt cage? I am looking for some beefing up but never expect to do any real hardcore stuff. Just light trails and rock crawling. I have read reviews on amazon and seem decent but didn't know if anyone had experience good or bad with it.

Can you explain this a bit more? Are you saying even with a SC the fuel regulator will limit the power to stock?

I am getting ready to go to a 35"loadtire and am debating whether to invest in beadlocks or just go with 15x8 steel wheels. If I can get to 10-12 psi as noted here I am thinkning that will do me just fine. Any thoughts on reasonably priced beadlocks and are they worth it?

Thoughts on the mounting bracket? I know I will have to drill it versus use bracket that mounts to tailight holes. I have swapped my tail lights for flush mount ORO lights. So I am thinking this is better options.
