    The symptom remedy valves for the valve body require reaming out the bores for the new valves. It’s basically how rebuild the valve body anyway. The bores wear and you need to resize them and use larger diameter valves. Both Sonnex and TransGo have offerings in this department.

    Ah, I get what you were saying now. I'd still question the statement that 1/2" is useless. I had originally ordered the 1/2" lift for mine because it worked with their gas tank and belly-up skid to get the minimum amount clearance without worrying about a motor mount lift or transfer case...

    I'm in the process of rebuilding my 42RLE. The parts add up... I've spent a lot of time trying to bridge the gap between "good stuff" (components made or remanufactured in USA) and "the best" stuff (like ATS diesel valve body and torque converter) I think I'll have around $1200 in parts in it...

    So you're saying an aftermarket skid such as a Rokmen is "practically worthless" compared to a stock one if all you want is better protection for your tank without any other mods? I know you've done a lot, made a lot, and helped a lot of people but this one must have caught you on an off-day.

    You can use the Rokmen gas tank skid with their 1/2" body lift which is minimally invasive, or use 1/2" spacers between the tank skid mounting points and the frame.
