    Video editing programs

Davinci Resolve 17. Free, and one of the most capable video editors on the market. It has a pretty kickass audio editing app built into it as well. You do need a capable PC or Mac though. The difference between Free and Full version is how it operates. The full version resides on the cloud...

    Jeep Wrangler Exterior Colors

Of course I'm kind of particular to the Jeep Green Metallic used on the 65th Anniversary edition.

Free, cheap, & low cost mods for your Jeep Wrangler TJ

If you have stock front, rear or both bumpers and they went from black to gray, there is an easy way to make them black again without having to use black restorer polish that only lasts for a month or two. Simply use Acetone. You have to be quick and soak the rag as you are technically melting...

    Kvarliek's 2006 Jeep Wrangler "65th Anniversary Edition"

https://www.tuffyproducts.com/p-491-tuffy-1997-2006-tj-wrangler-security-tailgate-enclosure.aspx This is what I used if you haven't come up with a solution yet. Solid and works great. Turns the tail gate area behind the rear seat into a trunk.

Massive Earthquake Turns Roads into 4x4 Tracks

A great reminder of how Jeeps are the perfect solution to natural disasters.

Duratracs white letters in or out?

I've done it both ways. I like them out, but they are more work. Jeeps are a vehicle where I like the white lettering. But if you are going to do a lot of rock crawling, I would go in. I deal more with mud, so it isn't a big issue.

How to make the best on-road TJ/LJ

I love driving my TJ on the highways. I used to commute 80 miles daily and I actually enjoyed the ride. A few years ago I had a Suzuki Samurai that I also took on long trips. The worst was a trip from Austin Texas to Chicago in the winter. We got caught in a storm with high winds and the...

How do you keep your rig rust free?

I'm from South Bend originally, left for the Air Force at 18 and never went back. When I first moved to the South, I was shocked to find cars over 4 years old without rust on them. Living in Indiana, I thought all cars rotted out in a few years. I remember a place called Ziebart which would...

    Kvarliek's 2006 Jeep Wrangler "65th Anniversary Edition"

I love my 65th as well. The first mod I did, after taking care of maintenance issues like replacing the radio, subwoofer, and the rear oil seal, was to put LED lights on her along with LED bulbs in the driving lights. Makes a huge difference! I also added a steel cargo storage compartment and...

Why do some people not carry Hi-Lift jacks?

Since this is my daily driver and I live in the city here in Atlanta, it's definitely one less thing I want to offer thieves who won't hesitate to break a window, cut a top of pry off something they think has value. The risk far outweighs any benefit. I stick with stock rated trails anyway.

What do you guys use to camp / live out of your Jeeps?

I've been following Jake for a couple of years. He's amazing, but in the last 8 or 9 months he's become more commercialized. I liked his earlier stuff where it was just him. Now he's got a buddy with him and I don't think his adventures are quite as good as they once were.

Found a parts / trail TJ

I've come across quite a few title-less jeeps here in Georgia. Sellers seem to think it's no big deal. I won't touch them with a 10 foot pole. You pretty much have to have the original title holder present to replace it. The only caveat is if the vehicle is 1962 or older, you don't need a...

Does anyone actually spend this much money on clothes?

Ever been to a Nieman Marcus? There is one here in Atlanta that I "browsed" in. First pair of pants I saw were a standard pair of jeans for $750. Damn things better give you super powers for that price!

SOLD For Sale: 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport

I almost bought a Comanche from a guy in Kansas about a year ago. I went to a site that requests shipping quotes from shippers and wound up with dozens of bids. The lower bids were under $500. It got annoying though because I had people calling me for weeks after the deal fell through.

CL Listing - 2001 TJ Auto - $4,490 Charleston SC area

I see them on Atlanta's craigslist all the time. Stock description, vague information or contact information and too good to be true are big red flags. I e-mailed one once to see where it would go (yea, I was somehow hoping it was legit too) but that just opened up more red flags. The jeep...

    Wheel Locks? Think Twice!

That's the only one I lock as well. I have an under seat storage box that I keep the key in, so not worried about losing it.

The most annoying feature on new cars?

Antifreeze is the same way. We used to have only one kind, green. Now there are variations of green and amber. You mix them and you are in for a rough ride.

How many miles do you get before your low fuel light comes on?

Mine takes 14 gallons as soon as the fuel light comes on. I use that to gauge my fill ups as I have the notorious ball stuck in the fuel tank issue, so get the back splash if I don't watch it. I have the flutter valve to put into the fuel hose, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Would you buy a salvage title TJ? Potential purchase

The 65th Anniversary package added 30-inch tires on 15-inch forged-aluminum wheels, gas-charged shocks, heavy-duty Dana 44 rear axle, full-metal doors (with tinted-glass windows), fog lights, CD player with 7 speaker sound system and Sirius Satellite Radio. Aesthetic upgrades consisted of a...

    Okay is this weird?

I get that feeling every time I walk out to the parking lot after work. As mere mortals hit their clickers to unlock their rice burners, I stick my key in the door and turn it. As I climb in, with my head high above their rooftops I take in the view. I glance at the interior, then the hood...
