Looking at the install instructions for where it attaches to the frame, couldn’t I move these brackets up 1.25” to match the 1.25” body lift. Looks like the top of the brackets would then be “hanging over” the frame by 1.25”… would that be a problem?

Is there no way to makes these work with a body lift? I’m not sure how these install so I don’t know what I’m taking about.

I’d have to look it up but my guess is somewhere around 750lbs total (blade, mount and lift combined)

Thank you! Exactly the info I was looking for. I will go with the 5000x 2-3”. I do plan on also lifting the body by 1.25”, but still understand I am going to have to set the bump stops to a point that will limit the up-travel. I am not super concerned with that as I don’t plan on doing any...

I’m going with OME 934/949 since I have an LJ with a hardtop, and going to be hanging a snow plow off the front in the winter and bumper/winch combo in the summer. Given the 934 fronts are for the v8 ZJ, I assume I am going to get more like 2.5” of lift maybe even slightly more… do you guys...

Doesn’t Rancho make a 5000 series for 2-3” lifts? And from everything I’ve read the Rancho shocks run a little long so with a 3” spring (if I can find that), would work out fine?

Hey @Chris - read through that whole thread and lots of great info. Question though: you said above that this DIY “kit” plus a 1.25” body lift will get me up 3.75”… but in the thread you tagged, it lists 2” springs and 1.25” body lift for a 3.25” total lift. To get 3.75”, should I get 2.5”...

You have any recommendations for a code reader I can order on Amazon that will pull the trans codes? I read somewhere that some readers won’t pull transmission codes and some do. I want to make sure the one I get can read the trans codes. But I also don’t want to spend $300 lol
