    Transfer case drop question

Hello all. A previous owner installed a 2" suspension lift. The t case drop was 1.5 inches. I thought it looked a bit much. After looking around here and digging a little. I'm pretty sure the drop kit is for a four inch lift. I removed the spacers and replaced with 3/4 inch of flat washers. It...

    Rockfish rear bumper installation question

Help me Obi Wan Kenobi you're my only hope! So I go to install my Fishbone Rear bumper. Everything is going fine until I go to install the inner bolts. Which I drilled off the provided template. It's so tight between the rear frame and the gas tank, which is full, I can't get to the bolt holes...

    Help identifying lift

A previous owner installed what I'm pretty sure is a 3" lift. The springs and shocks are grey with no real markings or identification. I've looked at some kits trying to figure out the manufacture. But nothing seems definitive to me. Anybody got any ideas?

Okay, so I'm a rookie and wiring LED lights

Everything I've seen is how hot LEDs are. The LEDs I purchased for my super sweet homemade lightbar come with a clear plastic cover that directly contacts the fixture. I see two things. 1. A place for condensation to be captured. 2. If not moving fast enough to keep things cool. The plastic...

    Building a lightbar

Wouldn't having them perched up in open air be beneficial to dissipating heat?

    Building a lightbar

I want to go with individual round lights. I was going to run a pipe with welded tabs. Then I thought about noise. I'm sure anything mounted will generate some sound. Would pipe "flow" through the air best? Or square tubing either square to the Jeep or possibly pitched at 45°. Thoughts?

A little low on the front end

Good call!! I've been looking at those very things. I'll hold off on the level until that is done.

A little low on the front end

A previous owner installed what I believe to be a 3" suspension lift. I've figured out I need to get adjustable track bars to square the axles to the body. I also noticed the front end is about 1/2" lower than the rear. Measured on the fender flare at the center of the wheel. I've found OME trim...

What would the purpose of the square tubing be?

I just bought a 2000 TJ Sport. It has progressive springs and sits a bit higher than my first Jeep. It has a 1" square tubing spacer on both sides of the belly skid plate. I don't believe it has any type of lift other than the bigger springs. My question is. What would the purpose of the square...
