    Milky NV3550 transmission fluid question

Hi friends, After spending a little too much time playing in the water for a few outings I noticed my shifter being "notchy" coming out of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. I just figured it was time to switch from Synchromesh to Red Line MTL so I ordered some from AMZ and got under the TJ to start the...

What can you see that went wrong in this video (trail accident)

Just catching this thread. To answer the original question, not knowing about the broken brake line, which doomed them from the beginning, engine braking and 4-Lo is a must. It’s the only way I go down steep and/or sketchy terrain. I feel bad for them.

    GMRS or HAM radio?

I feel like chiming in because, well, we're all family here. I often go offroad with my girl... solo. Is that smart, nope. Am I sometimes nervous, yep. But even when we were offroad in Death Valley, Joshua Tree, BigBear, or just local on some national forest fire roads, there were always some...

    White TJ Stolen Last Night

Hey brochacho, my condolences. I hate reading this shit… I hope they rot. BTW I have a “Tile” tracker on all my toys. There are good stories about how they’ve helped recover stolen stuff. Hope it turns up for him.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Just like so many of you, I installed the Novak transfer case cable linkage today. I’m going to say that I have a body lift and motor mount lift and (I know I will catch shit for this) the shifting feel was only slightly improved. Not worth the cash imho, perhaps for others. But hey, I have...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Installed LEDs in the gauge cluster and the HVAC pod. Wow they made a difference! Also did the dome lights and the footwell lights as well. Shocking. I know y’all have seen it before but for those who haven’t done this, it’s a very worthwhile upgrade, super easy too.

Guessing this was an alarm once

Thanks team. I took it out today. I feel a lil better about that too. I agree that you never know what can happen… or where.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Found a ball of wires under the dash. Remnants of an old alarm system. So I reefed it out after some good advice from y’all!

Replaced Track Bar, Now Steering Wheel is widely off center

Yep as soon as I did mine, actually front and rear bars, it was off. Since I’d installed all new everything including the steering box to eradicate my death wobble, I opted for an alignment to top it all off

Guessing this was an alarm once

I was removing the dash on my way to install LEDs in the cluster and HVAC switches (highly recommend it btw!) and case across this wiring harness. Old alarm harness? Looks to have been well/properly installed (meaning not a butcher job) and all that’s left is a relay, two fuses, and the plug...

    Hello from Ventura!

Yeah I’m in the marina just up from those apartments. It can get sketchy here for sure. There was a shooting right in front of the Rud a few years back and one in my parking lot last year. Not cool. I thought living in a marina next to $1.5M+ homes woulda meant a nice neighborhood, and that’s...
