    Replacing 2.4L

I love my 2.4 and all the challenges that come with owning one. Haha. Honestly, the only bad thing I can say about it is the lack of available information and support. But then again I guess the uniqueness appeals to me as well. @billiebob I replaced the clutch less than 5k miles ago...

Blutooth OBDII Readers, Extended Dashboards and Live PCM Readings

I just got the BlueDriver BT scanner and have been using their app. I used to check and clear 1 code but that's about the only thing I know how to do with it. The live data is nice but I need to learn what it all means. For example, I've been watching my O2 sensors (P0171 occasionally) and Bank...

    Replacing 2.4L

Well I'm ready to start ordering my parts and was wondering if y'all had any advice on brands, vendors etc. The only brand specifics I've got so far: NTK O2 sensors, NGK plugs, Fel-Pro gaskets and Gates Timing belt kit w/ water pump. I'm thinking about the Performance Distributors Firepower Kit...

    tnkayaker615's 2005 Jeep Wrangler SE

I've been thinking about posting here but never took the time. I've slowly been building my Jeep really just over the last year or so but its starting to become a weekly thing. The jeep gods rewarded me last week with bumpers and a Barricade roof rack with basket for next to nothing. I love the...

Thank you for recommending Rancho RS5000X shocks!

Well, I had to see what all the hype was about so I ordered a set off Amazon. I may have missed the rebate minimum by $5 but I couldn't be happier with the difference they make. Thanks for another great recommendation!

    Replacing 2.4L

If a 4.0 swap was as simple as direct replacement I would! And I highly doubt I would find a low mileage 4.0 for $300!!

    Replacing 2.4L

I got the radiator and condenser with the engine. And I just had a luk clutch installed <3k miles ago so should be good there right?

    Replacing 2.4L

I just picked up a 2006 2.4L engine 30k miles to replace my 05 that has 180+k. It has been giving me trouble for awhile so I was researching engine swaps when I found this engine for a price I could not pass up. I'm looking for advice on what I should replace/upgrade on the engine and in the bay...

    Dog breeds

Australian shepherds are the way to go. They are very intelligent and somewhat easily trained. I have a 2 year old miniature Aussie that loves riding and hiking. They do require some sort of daily exercise and mental stimulation because they get bored and can be destructive.

Jeep Wrangler TJ LED Headlight Upgrade Options

WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG! I've had these lights on my Amazon wish list since I first found this thread, over a year ago! I was too cheap to replace the factory "lanterns" when they still worked. I finally broke down and decided to spoil myself. Before, I had a hard time driving at night but now...

    While I'm at it...

So I'm going to be replacing my clutch in the next couple weeks and plan to address an oil leak (possible RMS?) while its apart. I was wondering if there is anything else I should look into or replace/repair while I'm at it? My goal is to steadily "restore and strengthen" each system with the...
