    Headlights

I'm with the CIBIE crew. After talking with Daniel Stern, who (as the phrase goes) has forgotten more about lighting than the rest of us will ever know, has very specific and measurable reasons as to why they're better than any of the other H4 housings. Don't hesitate to hit him up as he's...

Apparently I just couldn't stay away from motorcycles

    That's a great ride @Chris!!!

What did you do to your TJ today?

I'm holding out till the end of September. I'm optimistic the heat will come back to make amends for the cold spell this week.

    LJ Trunk Enclosure

The cut out section near the latch is necessary to wrap around the plastic housing surrounding the latch on the tailgate. My design won't work with a hinge without modification. The sides wrap around the roll bars and that prevents the top from being able to lifted up if it was hinged across...

    LJ Trunk Enclosure

Those are the Savvy tail lights. I absolutely love the fit and finish of them. Sure, they're more expensive but this is one time I didn't mind paying.

    The end of Michigan...

The first time I ever went to Michigan was a trip up to Copper Harbor. There's nothing like being there at the end of June with a sunset that must be close to 11 PM. Thanks for sharing those photos! I'll never forget that snow marker when we first crossed over onto the peninsula:

    Picture request: no door mirrors

That was probably me. I have a set of the Quadratec mirrors and they don't share any more that factory ones attached to the doors. I'm very pleased with them.

Be careful when under your Jeeps, I dodged a bullet Saturday

I'm glad it was just a scare and there weren't any serious injuries. Every once in a while it takes something like that to put us back into hyper-vigilant mode. Just like the first time you fall asleep at the wheel. It scares you so bad you NEVER end up in that situation again.

    Potential 2006 Rubicon Lift and Tire Set-Up - Thoughts/Experience?

I'll defer on the other questions to those with more experience . . . Unless you just happen to specifically want a particular look, width is really more a function of how you'll be driving it. My LJs are 95+ percent daily driven and nothing around Michigan (short of Drummond Island) is that...

Jeep Wrangler TJ LED Headlight Upgrade Options

Headlights, not foglight, right? If so, get/make a wiring harness with a relay to pull the power right from the battery instead of through the wiring harness. It will improve the light output significantly.

    LJ Trunk Enclosure

Nice!!! I'm glad that you were able to use them as a starting point for your build. What part of Atlanta are you in? I'll ask some of my buddies if there's a good tool & die shop that's convenient for you. If you know of any good 4x4 shops that do their own fabrication it should be a snap...

    Necessary lighting

It's illegal on this side of the pond as well. If you do this typically your just living on borrowed time until you hit the wrong LEO on the wrong day.

    Offroading Goggles

And to go along with those Steampunk Goggles, you need a "Steam" punk Jeep - http://www.fourwheeler.com/features/1707-loco-hauk-steam-powered-6x6-jeep-jk-built-by-kenny-at-2017-easter-jeep-safari-in-moab/

    "And Here We Go" Build

That's a great looking Jeep! The PO gets double bonus stars for not going cheap and actually matching the spare so you can do a 5 tire rotation.

What did you do to your TJ today?

When splicing in the new wires for dual horns, don't be frugal with the wire. If my hot leads had been 1/8" shorter I would have had to rip them out and start over

I've got a bitch about the TJ...

Because we have a CJ, I could never get over the interior of the TJ/LJ when they first came out. It's a darn shame too because when I finally got a used LJ, I finally got over it and wished I had bought it new :-( While at least Jeep gets credit for keeping the front window hinges in tact...

    Bartact seat covers

Last night it rained for quite a while and this morning when I took my rain cover off I forgot about the puddle that formed and it all fell down right on the driver seat. I brushed the puddle that formed in my seat right off and put down a towel to sit on while I went on a donut run. When I...
