    Dana 44 Rear End Replacement

Definitely make sure the gear ratio is the same between front and rear. Also there's a guide on here for determining what axles you currently have by the shape of the diff cover, to confirm if you have a Dana 44 now. Is the damage to more than just the axle shaft, where you can't just replace shaft...

Possible skipped tooth on timing belt?

No schrader valve on mine when I was checking fuel pressure back a few weeks ago. Had to plumb in a tee with the tester to the connection to the rail. Have you taken any video/audio of it when it's sputtering/running very rough like this?

    2.4 Crankshaft Position Sensor

Planning to, might as well order that kit off rockauto while I'm waiting on mail delivery and testing time of the PCM. Don't want to have to do the whole cover again

    2.4 Crankshaft Position Sensor

Same position of that indicator after rotating clockwise twice around, and then still same after the third rotation. Can this improper timing belt tension cause a no-start condition? Worth it to go buy a new belt and tensioner? Think I'm also going to send the PCM off to @Wranglerfix at this...

    2.4 Crankshaft Position Sensor

Also I noticed while taking the covers off back a few days that the exhaust pipe had fallen off! Bolted back on now 😅

    2.4 Crankshaft Position Sensor

Checked out the timing last night and it looks correct to me. However, I realized that since I had some rotation in both directions to get the crank sprocket to TDC, my measurement of the belt tension is invalid. I'll have to try that again tonight, after taking out the spark plugs this time. If...

    2.4 Crankshaft Position Sensor

To make a long story short, my '05 2.4L TJ has been crank-no-start since I got it last year, and I suspect the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP). I've replaced the spark plugs, checked fuel pressure, replaced spark plug wires, and more. What is odd is that I found two (2) CKPs actually installed...

    New from West Michigan

Hello all! I have a new-to-me 2005 Electric Green TJ with the 2.4L that isn't running yet! Wife bought it last summer as a project vehicle to get me one that goes along with hers (Impact Orange 4.0L). Hoping to get it running soon, and then get started on the upgrades and take it out for a few...
