This was after installing a new motor on my 2001 TJ. I never check fuel mileage. My only indication was the 'check engine' code which referenced the O2 sensor heater circuit. Replaced the sensor...no change. Checked and replaced the relay....problem solved.

Nothing loose. Planning on getting it to a transmission shop. 'A man's got to know his limitations.'

I've had a couple of TJ's, a '97 and now a 2001. Great Jeeps with lot's to appreciate about them. But I think there's something to appreciate about many of the older models, especially the CJ's. Gotta say, I'm not a fan of Jeeps with 4-doors....doesn't seem right, just sayin'.

Hi Russ, I just ordered a pair of Corbeau Moab Reclining black vinyl seats. Still deciding on a back seat. I like some of the Corbeau rear seats but folding down flat is a must.

I'm 9 months into this restoration.....guess that means it's due? Getting close to being able to take it out. New seats are next. Followed by fender flares, side step bars and dash components. Of course, I'll never really be finished.....just sayin'.

OK, finally found the time to get back to this project. When I received this motor from ATK, it didn't have a cradle for the crankshaft. I assumed that, like the other items I needed to add to this motor, the cradle was one of them. I called ATK and discovered that a stroker doesn't use a cradle...

We didn't turn the crank before the install. Didn't even add oil until we got deep enough into the process. We'll pull the spark plugs and try again prior to sliding the tranny back. I'm with you....I think something is catching the flywheel.

Great thought, but we bought the stroker. Didn't build it.
