“Blaine wants to sell you HIS parts”
Maybe you should spend more time reading here. There was just a thread where someone was asking if a cheaper set of control arms would be a good choice for his needs, almost everyone started recommending Currie of savvy and Mrblaine jumped in and let...
Thanks for the expansion now I can picture what you’re saying. If control arms were welded to frame and axles that would stop movement and affect ride quality. Correct I hope.
Are control arms only needed to keep axels at set location and angles? But that seems to me controlling movement also as far as keeping axles from (wrapping) back and fourth on and off power. So I guess I’m not understanding as I thought control Arms have no affect on ride quality.
I wouldn’t think control arm angle would affect ride quality, I always thought control arms are for keeping axles from (wrapping) moving back and forth when power is applied. I could be wrong but that has been my understanding.
Don’t let the nsg370 scare you away from a 05-06 TJ. Just keep in mind that it shifts more like an old truck not a sports car. I haven’t had problems (nock on wood) jumping out of reverse or first or grinding any gears nice slow and easy shifts.
Don’t give up took me almost 2 years to find mine. While your looking it gives you more time here to learn what to look for and where you might want to go as far as building a Jeep for what you want to do with one.
