Unfortunately, I'm starting to suspect a near failing fuel pump. Now it never starts on the first try, but always starts the second. I'll put it on my future repair list.

Brand new just got it two days ago

All of a sudden, I have a starting problem with the Jeep. Still starts but really struggles to. After I run it for a while it starts up fine. Has me suspecting that it might be a weak alternator. Lights are a bit dim. I know it's not that battery because I just put a new one in.

I've noticed a slight screeching noise coming from the engine bay. Any ideas? The belt?

This doesn't seem catastrophic, but something is def going on here. Any ideas? I don't think it's the oil cap.

I'm pretty sure my rear shocks need replaced. I'm hearing a popping sound on hard acceleration. What is a good estimate for a shop to do this right now? I don't want to tackle this myself because of rust.

I was fully intent on buying a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee today. The Jeep itself was really nice, but I didn't like the drive for a strange reason. I did not like the slanted windshield. I like our TJ windshields. Forget them aerodynamics! This happen to anybody else?

I just started to see this. Is this a normal thing with later TJs or is this an aftermarket job?

We'll see how this goes. I'm using J-B Weld 5000 PSI Epoxy. I'll post a picture later on tonight when I paint over it.

I'm at the point where I love my TJ so much that I don't want to run it in the PA winter salt anymore. I want it to last for many more years. So, I'm looking for a second vehicle to run in the wintertime. I want something reliable that's in the 5,000-dollar range. Obviously has to be in 4wd or...

I've seen on sites that the older TJ ones don't crack as much. Why? Did they change the exhaust manifold?

Who else has done this? Mine are getting a little worn so I'm thinking about it.
