    JK seats in a TJ

And those seats are NICE as far as comfort goes in the TJs. They are the tightest of fits. You can squeeze em in, though.

    Advice on TJ vs LJ

If I had to do it over again (and I might), I would probably go LJ. I have two kids and a dog, and the extra space would be great. The bonus is you can get away with less modification to go higher on lift, though it's probably tempting to go bigger on the rubber and spend more. Our TJ is a...

    "Pacing myself" build

Bob - been looking for your Nomad wheels online and can't seem to find many that show in stock. Any ideas on where to locate? Full disclosure, I'm lazy so very well could have missed these somewhere. I am wanting to possibly return to 15 inch wheels and go 32x11.50 on tires (or if I go BL, 33"...

    Fog lights plug

KC makes some direct fit fogs I know. There may be another mfr or two that do as well. KC Apollo I think are the ones. I believe they have two lines, different price points. Good luck.

    Starting issue

I have same/similar issue. Pretty sure it's the check valve on top of the fuel tank (sorry if this isn't technically correct) based on my research. Just haven't had the time to drop tank and replace. Also not sure if it's possible to replace the check valve itself or if you have to replace the...

Here you go...2004 Sport, 2 inch BDS. Came with black steelies but white on black was too monochromatic for me as well as some other posters, so I found a set of Moab's. Keeping it pretty simple/clean, but more to come definitely as the budget allows.

    jmm45's 2004 White Sport

Thanks. Not much to report since April. Trails, backroads, highways....top has been off since mid May and don't plan on raising it back up until September, probably unless needed. Shocks are slightly still but have become a little smoother. No issues, no problems to report. Will be upgrading...

    BDS Suspension?

Actually running 265/75/16 Goodyear Duratracs - approx 31.6" tire. Plenty of wheel well/travel with that size for what I do.

    BDS Suspension?

I've got the 2" kit from BDS. I've been very happy with it, and likely due to some sag in the stock springs, it netted at least 2.5" but more like 2.75". I also added 3/4" spacers to the front thinking I could take them out if needed. I haven't needed to, and it sits level which I prefer...

Thank you for the kind words. Believe it or not, your TJR was part of my inspiration - as well as @Starrs TJR. My "build" will be pretty mild/tame compared to some. It needs to be a nice driver as well. Thanks also for the link on that bumper - kind of excites me (wife will not be haha!).

    jmm45's 2004 White Sport

Okay - posting to the build thread because it's the first chance I've had to do a little trail riding and mild wheeling since installing lift. Apologies if it should be elsewhere - feel free to move if so. I had some fun this weekend with the TJ and a few friends over at Choccolocco Mountain ORV...

    2004 Columbia Edition Build

Nice build - keep going - get the lift! Haha. How are the headlights? I've heard mixed opinions on those specific lights so I'm curious.

    jmm45's 2004 White Sport

Thanks, man. Honestly, the install as so straightforward and easy, it should not intimidate. Get a friend to assist, decent floor jack, two 6 ton jack stands, assortment of wrenches/ratchets/sockets/crowbar/etc. and you're golden. Took us just under 3 hrs and we weren't really rushing. Move the...

    jmm45's 2004 White Sport

After about a month of sitting in my garage trying to find the time, I finally got around to installing the lift on the TJ. Had help from a good friend so make it much easier/quicker. Another friend joined and helped as well. Beer was consumed. Netted around 3 inches all around but expect it'll...

    jmm45's 2004 White Sport

Snow was in December...skip ahead to mid March. Lift just had to be ordered. I hemmed and hawed over brand of lift - OME? Piece it all together? BDS? I did know it wanted around 2-2.5" as the offroading we will be doing is nothing crazy but I do want something pretty capable. Mostly trails and...

    jmm45's 2004 White Sport

Played in the snow - a rarity here in GA. Glad to have new tires at this point, as they were definitely needed. Helped pull people out from being stuck in ditches during a couple of our big snows (relatively haha). It sure was pretty, though.
