Jeep Wrangler JK “Big Pimpin” Edition

Why put screens in the rear seat headrests? At least the rear tire doesn’t block the mirror, they can just look through the rim. My rear view mirror is pretty much useless with a 35 hanging back there. And I can’t flip the mirror since I have a tuffy overhead console. Sent from my Jeep using...

    What is this?

I have a pair of the same ones. I think I got them for $5 or $7 each at Harbor Freight. They are actually in use right this moment as I’m in the process of doing the front and rear brakes on my TJ. They are very handy and seem to be solidly made. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Yeti Alternative

We have an RTIC hard and soft cooler and love them. They are usually at least half the price of a Yeti, sometimes cheaper if they have a sale going on. They run 20% off sales often. Sent from my Jeep using Tapatalk Pro

If you rotate your headlight switch to the right until it clicks, the dome light doesn’t come on? Or if you don’t have the pull out type switch, there should be a scroll wheel for the dash light brightness. Roll it up until it clicks. You should also be able to do the opposite to disable the...

They mount to the existing holes, but may require longer bolts. I love mine. They are much better than those Velcro straps because it gets your hand out of your way while climbing in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Soft top vs hard top

I traded my soft top to a local guy for his hard top. TJ hard tops can be hard to find in good shape sometimes and can get pretty expensive. I won’t be getting rid of my hardtop any time soon, but I am looking at getting a TrekTop NX frameless. I have a SofTopper on my YJ, but I don’t think...

Which do you have and how do you like it? I’ve been thinking about a Trektop NX frameless and one of the suggestions was to get a spider shade or TJ-kini for storing the windows overhead when running safari style. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Definitely! He gets mad if we go somewhere and we are NOT in the Jeep. He especially likes it in the summer when the top is off and he can get in the back seat by climbing the back tire.

I don't think I have a pic with the upper doors off, but I can take one in the next day or two.

Yes, I'm in WEJC but it seems like I always either forget about the M&G or have something else going on. I did make a ride with Bad Company a couple of weekends ago, which is where the muddy pic came from.

    Rear Headrests in a TJ?

Mine still rides in a booster seat with a back, but I’ll probably add the headrest for when he’s big enough to ride without the booster.

    Rear Headrests in a TJ?

I haven't done it personally, but I do have an extra rear seat in storage that I may try this and adding a subwoofer under the seat. there's a write up over on wranglerforum if you Google TJ rear seat head rest
