No sleeve in the hinge. You will need To take the carrier off. To Do that loosen the bumper bolts which will allow the bumper to rock back. The will allow the large hinge bolt on the carrier to clear the hinge on the tailgate. You must remove the bracket also to gate the carrier off. I went...

    Shout Out to Warn!

Had a sagging tire carrier on Warn rear bumper. Shimmed the hinge and hinge bracket and sag fixed, but the nylon washer was in pretty bad shape. Called Warn customer service today and they are mailing me two today NO CHARGE! Great customer service.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Haven’t owned this Jeep long. Warn bumpers. Rear tire carrier started sagging to the Lint I couldn’t close it. Pulled the bumper off, broken bolts and all. Shimmed the tire carrier at the hinge as well as the hinge bracket and painted everything with Krylon Fuzion flatte black textured paint.

42RLE having issues shifting from first to second gear

2004 Rubicon, 42RLE, two inch lift, MML, 1.125 body lift. 5:13s. Bought the jeep a couple of years ago with 58,000 miles. Now has 97,000 miles on it with probably another 20,000 being towed, but not on the odometer. It has always had an issue at very slow speeds shifting down from second to...

Things I have found that rattle, chirp, or squeak

I had a rattle in my side door also. Pulled the panel and discovered the fabric sheath that the door lock wire runs through was disintegrated. I put wire loom over it and it helped for a while, but now rattling again from time to time.
