I think I've got a different issue ....put two springs on & still very touchy

my 04 Rubi auto does the same thing ....added a spring didn't help ...changed TPS did not help ....still searching for an answer

the Alt.., plug wires, fuel inj. & plugs cause the noise.....mine has none .....don't know what field you were/are in but we learned that in basics as RTO operators in the 60's....just trying to help but since you know it all have a nice night

keep your power wire OUT of the engine compartment ..that's where your IF is coming from I run the same setup as you but power from fuse box behind glove box.....this coming from a Extra class ham operator of 50yrs. ....take care...N5MCZ

All cars use the same basic screw type bottle jack ...My TJ came without one also ....went to the local salvage yard and got one out of a 2007 Chevy truck complete with folding handle for $20...works great ...you'll have to get a separate lug wrench....take care

New EAG rear bumper ...pretty easy except had to rework tire carrier to raise spare 2" to get on top of bumper ...275x70x16....

PO of new to me tj said he bought a "combo" deal when he purchased Jeep new had hard & soft top ...I will never use the soft top & will sell but I have no idea of what a complete soft top consist of....this top has several metal pieces plus fabric ...been 30 plus years since I fooled with a soft...

I run "E" 10ply Firestone TransForce AT2 on my F150 for one reason ....no/very few flats ....I am a water operator that travels gravel/unpaved roads 90% of the time ...TransForce get 30 to 40K miles without or very few flats....Have used Goodyear Wrangler TrailRunner AT2 & General Grabber AT2 in...

as a side note I run a rural water system & use Firestone TransForce 2 tires...only tire that will last over 20k mi ...E load [10 ply] ...gravel roads & have very few flats at 40psi on a F150 4x4 ....at 70 I don't like flats !!...also pull a small trackhoe with this truck...take care
