My LJ is a pig on fuel. This can't be real life.

I’ve been in the Jeep world since 2006, and I am not expecting Corolla mileage here or miracles.. but I feel like something is off. Bit of background, I had a 97 5speed 4banger with 250km on the clock.. ran a cheap lift, 31” Duratracs the thing did alright on gas to the point it didn’t concern...

05 LJ Manual Clutch Pedal Rattle

Throw out bearing bud. My issue isn't that, it's been 2+ years now I basically put a spring on the clutch pedal so it keeps tension on it - pulled out towards the steering column. No more rattling. Also, makes it a bit harder to press it in, good leg workout, i rotate between left and right...

Wrong answer Bob. 1.25”. Any more than that and it just looks hideous

Okay, so miles. My Jeep has like 34,000 kilometres that’s like 21,000 miles. Guess I changed them in time..

    Changed Plugs, Opinion on condition

No, performance is on par. No codes of any kind. Jeep feels strong and runs good. Except gas mileage sucks! What’s the lifespan supposed to be on these NGK?

    Changed Plugs, Opinion on condition

Today I decided to change the plugs on my 05 LJ. Even though the originals only had 34k kilometres on them, I figured being 16 years old I didnt want them seizing in the block. These looks bad to me considering only 34k kilometres, all plugs were bone dry, no wetness so that's good. Installed...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Installed new plugs in my 05 LJ. Even though the originals only had 34k kilometres on them, I figured being 16 years old I didnt want them seizing in the block. These looks pretty bad to me considering only 34k kilometres. Installed NGK OEM replacements. Also the gap on the originals was way...

    Deteriorating Vacuum Harness Elbow

Gotcha. Yah I did the same MOD on my 05 LJ. I purchased the OEM one and added it, helped a bit but not much, I added a second spring in addition to it and now it really feels like my old TJ did.

2-2.5" lift questions (question about OME lift kits)

Hi, i just re-read my post and it was actually a typo. I never installed any relocation brackets. What I ended up installing was front and rear adjustable trackbars and these bolted right into the OEM location, no drilling or additional brackets required. The parts I used where these...

SOLD Rancho RS5000X Front and Rear Shocks

These don’t fit a 3-4” lift.. they are only for for 2-3 or 2.5-3.5 from memory. Think it’s 2-3.

    Aftermarket equivalent to Rubicon flares

Simple question, when does an equivalent aftermarket rubicon flare deliver the advertised amount of coverage as an Mopar Flare?

Feedback on the price of this 2006 TJ Unlimited

Whatever has been painted couldn’t be that bad considering the frame sections are smooth and not all messed up from the rust. If something is rusted bad you would notice that as the paint finish wouldn’t be smooth (kind of like around the frame holes).

Feedback on the price of this 2006 TJ Unlimited

Lol. That Jeep looks mint compared to some that get posted on here and people say “oh yah, that’s easily fixed” or “that’s just starting its life, wire wheel, a welder and 6months of your time and shes good as new” The price may be high, knock the price down and you have yourself a good Jeep...
