Was driving today and it started running extremely rough and engine light started flashing. Got home and went to check codes and no bus popped up. It runs and cranks just runs horrible. Any help would be appreciated

A place to start on wiring issue

So this morning, my Jeep started misfiring like crazy and had the check engine light start flashing. When I got it back home, I went to check the code and the obd2 would not connect to my scanner as well as the "no bus" code on the odometer. I have had to park my Jeep in the grass the last few...

    Some sort of transmission issue

Ill check the fluid tonight and this is something that just recently started to happen in the last month or so and havn't had any codes related to the transmission whatsoever.

    Some sort of transmission issue

So my automatic 2006 Wrangler has been having some issues lately that I think are transmission related but just wanted some confirmation of that. When it goes down into overdrive, it goes really really low like around 1300 RPM. It also sometimes shakes really hard and if I let off the gas, it...

Weird ticking noise under acceleration that goes away after a few minutes

So I started having this problem on Friday and I am very confused. Every morning, I let my Jeep warm up about 15 minutes and on Friday, once I started to drive and accelerate, I had this horrible ticking sound. It did it really loud at first and as I drove, it got quieter and quieter until it...

    2006 TJ

So update. I recently had a shop install a slip toke eliminator kit. I bought it from Adams Driveshaft so it came with their driveshaft and I opted for the advanced adapter sye kit. The shop that installed it took awhile because for some reason 5 other people decided they wanted a sye kit the...

    Automatic Transmission Pump

Sadly I wont be able to do that. I would think about 800 if they had to remove the transmission then?

    Automatic Transmission Pump

So I just recently had a slip yoke eliminator installed at a local shop and I also told them to look into a weird squeak coming from the transmission. The squeak happens mostly when it is in park and sometimes when I am in drive and going very slow. They told me that they thought that it was the...

Well I went from running a 31 to a 33 so I knew it might be a little different but I couldn’t feel a mayor difference. Iv had my KO2s for over a year and Iv never had them slip once. What tire pressure are you running them at?

    2006 TJ

Finally had time and a day that wasn't raining to put the new front bumper on! Next step is to get a slip yoke eliminator and driveshaft. Was going to do it myself but called a shop and he said he could install it in a day for like 40$-50$ so couldn't really pass that up. More updates to come!

Any differences between transfer case from an auto versus a manual?

For someone who has never did anything this mechanical, I would like to be able to have it out in front of me and have plenty of time to be able to disassemble and reassemble it. I have heard both sides of it being easier doing it in the jeep and doing it out.

Any differences between transfer case from an auto versus a manual?

You must not have read the thread. I am buying it because I am wanting to put a Slip yoke eliminator in and want to be able to take my time and do it outside of the jeep and still be able to drive my jeep. And i will more than likely just buy a new input shaft and sell my old transfer case to...
