Yeah I am adding lockers so it's a good time to upgrade. If I didnt want the lockers I would do the front rebuild only.

I agree since I will stay with 33x10.5s but there really isn't a price difference so I'll just do the 30 spline upgrade . Not sure if I can get 27 spline much cheaper than $400 so I didnt ask. They are USA standard not alloy USA. Apparently same thing as yukon shafts. The outers are 27 spline...

It's my local shop. I beleive they are USA standard. Amazon has them for 630 and he is giving me 10 year warranty so a good deal I think.

What are the recommended seals and rear bearing? Anyone have part numbers?

That's what I was thinking. They look pretty easy to do too....pricey just for the u-joints. That's why I asked about the axles. But upgrading the locker and inner and outer shafts to 30 spline chromoly is a good price at $400 either way. I think

My installer recommended to at least do the U-joints to the upgraded spicers which is $275 for parts and labor. I then asked how much for 4340 axles and he said $400 extra for the 30 spline axles. I migh as well do that. Probably overkill but only $125 more than just the u joints.

Yeah and actually during the research you popped up all over the place. Thanks for your contributions. I dont think I will go with 35s since I drive 6 hours one way where I plan to take this. I hope I dont regret it later...

I'm on 31s and want 33s with lockers. Front diff needs a rebuild so I think might as well go for 4.10s and do a full rebuild for peace of mind. Just needed to know what to ask my installer. 99 TJ 32rh

I'm thinking of going to 4.10 from 3.73. I have the 30/44 combo My quote is for Regear front and rear Master install kits Front and rear air lockers Front 30 spline chromoly axles Doesn't that mean my axles are fully rebuilt except the rear shafts?

I like the looks of the mopar bumper bit will go with something like the aluminum savvy strictly for weight reasons.

I'm going to 33s with 4.10s and it will cost me a pretty penny so dont see it as a down grade.

Good deal! Yeah Ideally you want 4.56 but can get away with 4.10 if you live in flat terrain and or you dont load your TJ too much with heavy accessories.

Very nice TJ and matching trailer! Maybe I will do that in a few years when the kids get older and show true interest and patience. My girl wont leave the kids behind for the weekend, even with her mom lol... So for now the TJ will be built for a single rider and possibly my pup.

Yup. I need to get some mods before I add the chrome grill. I think it doesnt look as great in a stockish Jeep. Which console did you have. I mainly got it for the side rear boxes. Owner didnt want to split the package. At $70 I still think it's a decent deal even if I dont use the center...

I had no intent into making the TJ into an overland rig when I got it. Then as it all goes I was watching videos on youtube to get ideas what other people do to their Jeeps. I guess watching them over and over implanted the idea lol Then I noticed the TJ is not big enough. But thinking about it...
