No, us JL and Gladiator owners who grew up around CJs, YJs, TJs, JKs and now the JL and JT have known this for decades. The seven slots that is. I just wished Jeep would always keep an Army Green in the color lineup.
Yeah somethings are taking a bit. For example, right now there are only a few aftermarket head units out there. And FCA will not allow people to buy the other radios and upgrade because it's not what's on our VINs. Alpine wants $3k for their unit. Insane Audio has a sweet one for "only" $1400 ;)
Wow guys. Just because we all have different tastes doesn't mean we have to be dicks. The poor guy was excited for having a Jeep. Hopefully, he'll find some technical info here too. All that matters is that he loves his Jeep and enjoys the great outdoors exploring!
O I know you were being "smart"! :ROFLMAO: I've been around. Just stalking and lurking. One thing I do miss about my TJ is the aftermarket. Geez, they are taking a long time with the JL. And it seems like having a 2 door makes the wait even longer.
With the computer integrated in all aspects of the vehicle, the average Joe won't be repairing much. However, I love mine and wouldn't trade it. At first I missed my TJ, but quickly got accustomed to modernity;)
I don't have the TJ any more, but I still have Jeep projects. Going to put some new headlights in my husband's JKU and I am waiting on my Ram mount to arrive tomorrow so I can install it in my JL. That, and cleaning up the yard after winter and start seedlings for the garden. At least I live in...
Just trying to help ;) My JL has been so fun and I haven't had anything major go wrong. But I can understand the frustration of feeling like no one is listening. Hopefully, @Flivver250 can get his rig back soon!
Yeah it would really suck to not be able to enjoy your vehicle. I always thought that buy backs/lemons were because of significant mechanical issues. I didn't know that wind noise qualified. I'm sure a lot depends on your dealer and if they fight for you???
